In the dim light, cats swarm around a central area of the tropical forest. There is a rising conflict that they discuss. The very topic of ants. Simply the thought of them seems petty, but the insects here in the forest are looming over the cats, casting a shadow of death. What has happened is, cats were dying, and the ones alive have traced it back to the little insects. At first, many cats doubted them, laughing at the fact such little beings could kill such big cats. But all doubt is erased when they see them, black dots scurrying and biting, and killing, any that come close.
Uncertainty clouds the clearing the cats gather in. They have abandoned their camp for safety for now. Should they leave their home, some place where they have lived for too many generations to count, or leave to find a new home, somewhere that promises a safe place to continue living?
After many contradictions, arguments, and doubling back, the cats have settled on moving out. They agree that they must leave the home they know, in search for a new one. But all of them are aware that the journey will cost lives, and once more, desisons are made. Two of what they deem medicene cats are trained, and some other rules for safety are set, before the cats set off to find their new haven.
