She doesn't like to talk about it much, as she hates pity, but when she was younger, she went to a terrible school. Kids teased her and beat her up everyday because she was a little 'different'. She had no friends and was utterly lonely. The teachers did nothing to stop this, and eventually, she discovered her power, by lighting the school on fire, and watching it burn. After that, she moved schools, where she finally made friends and became 'normal'. Her past really shaped her into the person she is now.
