Waterstar yowled, "By naming apprentices, we show that RiverClan will survive and remain strong."
"From this moment on, until she has earned her Warrior Name, this Apprentice will be known as Goldpaw!"
"Mistpelt, you are now ready to take on an apprentice. You will be mentor to Goldpaw. Mistpelt, you have shown yourself to be a warrior of Skill and Honour. I'm sure you will pass on all you know to this apprentice."

Mistpelt touched noses with Goldpaw.

Waterstar touched noses with Tawnypaw, Wow! I have the leader as a Mentor! What an Honour! Tawnypaw thought.

"Goldpaw! Tawnypaw!" Everyone cheered.

Cloudstripe touched her with his nose.
