Rocket quickly walked over to her.
“Hey,” He said in a caring tone, “What’s wrong?”

Gabbi shook her head. "My um.. My dad got convicted of second degree murder..." She said, really enbarrassed. "So my siblings and mom are moving back here. Wit my grandma." She nodded.

Rocket kneeled down.
“Hey,” He said. “Don’t worry. We can help them.”

Gabbi shook her head, laying it on the desk. "They'll be fine. Its me. They dont want me In Uni because if he did it I could do it.." She said, huffing. "I'm now a 'liability'"

Rocket raised his eyebrows.
“That’s a weak excuse to stop someone from succeeding in life,” He stated, shaking his head. “Stay in here with me. They can’t tell you how to live your life and determine what’s best for you. If you were a murderer, you would have done it already. And why would you already pay for classes if you were supposedly here to murder people? That’s just stupid.”

Gabbi sighed softly. "Theyre just taking precautions. They arent folkowing through." She nodded, finally looking st him. "And its not me I'm worried about. Its my family." She said softly.

Rocket shook his head.
“Well, they’re not understanding you,” He said. “They need to.”

Gabbi smiled softly. "Why are you like this?" She asked softly, looking deeper at him.

Rocket stared back, a small smile on the corner of his lips.
“Like what?” He asked innocently.

Gabbi's lips turned upward in a small smile at his words. "Why are you so nice to me?" She asked.
