The Vicious Cycle 1x1

Dawn gasped again as she felt a stinging where he had slapped her. She put her hand up to her cheek. She had no doubt that there was a red mark there. Thankfully, Thor appeared in that moment and saved her from being hit again. Her blue eyes fell to the ground, not wanting to meet those of Loki nor those of Thor. She wanted nothing more than to return to her room. It wasn't much of an option as she was blocked by the gods. "Thank you, Thor." She spoke in a low voice.

Thor nodded a little and gave her a small smile. "You're alright... Now come on and let's go to your room." he said and forced Loki aside and stood between him and Dawn to walk her to her room which was just on the over side.

Dawn didn't make eye contact with Loki, not wanting to let him know that his slap hurt. She wasted no time listening to Thor though. She moved swiftly to her room and, once she was inside, knelt down to pet Thunder. Turns out dogs are great for helping people relax. She took some deep breaths before standing up. "That was my fault. I should've listened to him." She said to Thor.

Thor shook his head a little. "He had no right to hit you like that" he said seriously and moved over to her and lightly touched the cheek he hit. "I am sorry" he said and looked at her with a lopsided frown. "I should have taken you to your room"

Dawn couldn't help but flinch at his touch. It didn't hurt btu she was still a little startled by the events recently passed. "He warned me about something like this happening. There's no way you could've known. You can't be perfect, god or mortal." She said with a faint smile on her lips.

[SpotSong]

He noticed the flinch and moved his hand away realizing it may have shocked her and hurt all the same. "I know I am imperfect... But I still should have been smarter" he said and took her hand gently and slowly and lifted it to his lips and kissed it. "My sincere apologies Dawn of Midgard"

The smile became clear and blush began to rise to her cheeks, this time she was unable to stop it. It made little sense to her how Loki and Thor had grown up together but were almost complete opposites. "Apology accepted, god of thunder." With that Thunder stood up and bonded over excitedly. "No, not you Thunder." She said, looking down at the dog with a giggle.

He smiled warmly at her cheeks and words and nodded a little until he noticed the pup wander over and he raised a brow. "Ah Thunder Hmmm?" he mused and knelt down and smiled at the pup and pet him. "Good name. A strong name" he teased light heartedly.

"I thought so as well. I'm also almost positive that your being bias seeing as you are the god of thunder." She said with a tone of happiness as Thunder thumped his tail against the bed and barked. The barking was what made her decide to give him the name as he was ridiculously loud. She knelt down beside Thor. "Shh! You're in a castle. Don't be loud." She said as if the dog could understand her. He seemed to get that he wasnt supposed to bark as he did stop that. "He's a troublemaker." She added on.

"What? Me? Nooo" Thor laughed a bit and smiled at Thunders bark. "Ah I see. Loud one... I get where the name came from" he said honestly and pet him happily and looked at Dawn. "A good mix then"
