[Boomer]

Alessa hung back a bit as she looked to Lillie. Herdier was running around the kitchen after he finished his snack. The twins soon returned to Lillie's side. "I think we should do some training." mused Lusamine, "Just to see where everyone is at."

[Boomer]

"Alright, we'll practice in the gym." she said, "Let's get going." Lusamine led the group out of the kitchen and to the indoor gym. Alessa and Herdier walked next to Lusamine, while Mary and Maria hung back with Lillie.

[Boomer]

The both of them looked to Lillie and slightly nodded. They understood Lillie's anxiety. They hadn't battled in a while, but they were quite high leveled; they were into the 60's.

[Boomer]

"They can go up against Lopunny and Clefable." said Lusamine, going over to one side of the field. It looked like a standard gym as far as design went. She took two Pokeballs from her belt, then tossed them up. "Clefable, Lopunny, let's go!" she called, releasing the two Pokemon. They appeared side by side, ready to battle. Mary and Maria lined up together on the other side. They often battled as a team and worked off of each other's moves.

[Boomer]

Herdier and Alessa sat by the stands as they didn't want to get in the way. Mary glanced over to Maria, then gave a slight nod. Maria readied herself for a Surf attack, while Mary used Take Down. "Clefable, Moonblast!" called Lusamine, "Lopunny, go for Thunder Punch!" Just before Lopunny could get the Thunder Punch up, Mary slammed into her. Clefable used Moonblast right as Maria used Surf.

[Boomer]

Maria took a considerable amount of damage from the Moonblast. She shook herself and narrowed her eyes, then went for a Bite attack. "Lopunny, dodge and use Ice Punch!" commanded Lusamine, "Clefable, use Psychic!" Lopunny jumped back before Maria could sink her teeth into her before countering with an Ice Punch. Maria was hit square in the jaw. Mary went for her own Bite attack, this time not missing Lopunny. She bit into the Pokemon's arm. Clefable used Psychic on Mary to get her off of Lopunny. Maria panted a bit as she was getting tired. Mary was the better battler of the two; Maria was the better contest Pokemon. Still, Maria whipped up a quick Surf to knock Clefable out of focus.

[Boomer]

As the battle carried on, all four Pokemon were weak and getting tired. "Clefable, use Moonblast!" shouted Lusamine, "Lopunny, finish this up with Dizzy Punch!" Maria was looking more tired of the two Furfrou. She mustered up a U-Turn attack on Lopunny, effectively knocking her out. Lusamine slightly huffed, then smirked as she returned Lopunny. "It isn't over." she said. Clefable used Moonblast on Maria, knocking her out. Mary narrowed her chocolate brown eyes before using Retaliate against Clefable. This knocked out Clefable as Mary stood over her, panting heavily and quivering slightly. Lusamine returned Clefable, then looked over to Mary. "You have skill." she said, "Your trainer raised you well." Mary had to sit down as she was too tired to stand.

[Boomer]

"We'll get them healed up." said Lusamine softly, "They deserve it." She said a quiet "thank you" to Clefable and Lopunny before moving towards Maria. Maria was still out cold as she was lifted up. Mary let Lillie hug her, enjoying the affection. Mary allowed Lusamine to pick her up, only because she was too weak to walk. "We'll get them to the lab; they'll want to examine the twins anyways." said Lusamine softly.

[Boomer]

Maria finally woke up when Lillie started to carry her. She looked exhausted from the battle. Lusamine brought them downstairs to the lab, then took them to Secret Lab B. "Do you have their Pokeballs?" asked Lusamine, turning to Lillie. Secret Lab B had a healing machine like ones housed in Pokemon Centers.

[Boomer]

"I can't imagine too many Pokemon liking it." said Lusamine quietly, "But it'll only be for a minute." Mary looked over to Lillie, then slightly nodded. She and Maria wouldn't fight going into their Pokeballs.
