He groaned as AC/DC started blaring from his phone as his alarm. He smacked the device to get it to turn off, which it did, and got up only 15 minutes later when Aunt May yelled at him from the kitchen. The teen slowly went into the shower, then dressed for school in his usual jeans and sweater.

kaedin had just dropped karly off at school, and he was about to drop kayleigh off. kaedin had to drop out of school so he could work enough to make enough money. she was excited to see peter.

Peter Parker

He hopped into Aunt May's car while eating a muffin. His aunt chatted to him as she drove him there, talking about Uncle Jerry, who he absolutely despised. Disgusting, that man. Peter quickly thanked her for the ride and eagerly hopped out as they reached the school, looking around for Kayleigh as his aunt drove away.

kaedin stopped at the school, where kayleigh saw peter. she hugged her brother and grabbed her bookbag and water bottle as she hopped out of the car, calling peter's name. "peter!! hey!" she said with a smile.

He spotted her with a wide grin and jogged over to her location, wrapping his arms around her. "Hi, Kayleigh!"

kayleigh smiled, hugging him tightly. she made sure not to get him wet from her water bottle. "how are you?" she asked, looking up at him. she knew people were looking at them. kayleigh was a popular girl and peter was considered a nerd. she didn't care though.

"Haven't changed much in the 10 hours you weren't with me, but hey, who's counting?" he grinned playfully.

kayleigh rolled her eyes, letting him go with a giggle. "shut up!" she said, nudging him. "my couch was uncomfortable.." she said, shrugging. she instantly regretted saying couch... now he knew she slept on the couch..
