karly smirked. "or you could kiss kayleigh. you could do both." she giggled, wiggling her eyebrows at the two.

kayleigh coughed. "okay, karly! you're done with dinner! time for bed!" she said, picking her sister up. "hey peter? do you wanna put the dishes in the sink for me while i put her in bed?" she asked.

He blushed very deeply at Karly's response and nodded at Kayleigh. "Sure. Good night Karly." he grinned, gathering the dishes.

karly waved goodbye to peter, hopping out of kayleigh's grip and running to her bed.

kayleigh followed, quickly tucking her in and saying goodnight. she turned her light off and shut the door before walking to the kitchen. she saw peter and smiled. "she's something else..." she giggled.

Petey Parker

He had been doing the dishes and thinking of Kayleigh when she had walked in. He stopped the tap and dried his hands, turning to face her. "She really is."

kayleigh came up and sat on the counter beside her. "you gotta love her though. everyone says im the pretty one, but its karly." she giggled, shaking her head.

"Well, I think you're both pretty cute." Peter responded without really thinking, and realized what he had just said, turning red.

kayleigh blushed softly, smiling. "thanks. you're not too bad yourself." she said, nudging him with her foot.

"Thanks." he responded, looking down with a very heavy blush.

she played with her hands. "about earlier. when we were like... really close to kissing. i didn't want you to pull away." she laughed, knowing she was about to get rejected.
