Trapped [1 x 1 w/ euphoria and Captain. A. Stark.]

kayleigh looked at him. "you're really smart." she chuckled, highlighting it and standing up to go grab karly's dinner. "karly! wash your hands, hon! dinner is ready!" she called to her sister. "peter, you too. you can eat here." she said, smiling at him.

Petey Parker

"I...uh..thanks." he blushed cutely, smiling as she left. He looked up at her offer to eat and realized he was absolutely starving. "Thanks."

kayleigh nodded, seasoning the chicken before she took it out, sighing softly as she made a plate for four people. she put a plate into the fridge for kaedin to warm when he got home.

karly walked to the table, picking her and kayleigh's things up. she set their things on the living room table. kayleigh and karly were both extremely responsible girls, along with their brother.

Petey Parker

He smiled a little at Karly's responsibility. Wow. He handed her one of Kayleigh's pencil pouches just to help a little, but it seemed that she didn't need him for the job.

karly thanked him quietly when he handed her the pencil pouch. she threw it to the couch, pumping her fist when she made it where she wanted it. she sat beside in front of peter, knowing kayleigh would want to sit beside him.

kayleigh carried the three plates at once to the table. one plate in her left hand, one in her right, and the other resting on her left arm. she handed karly her plate, then peter, then she set down hers. "it's simple. mac and cheese and chicken. sorry." she said softly.

Petey Parker

He grinned at Karly's victorial happiness, then turned as Kayleigh brought the plates. It sneezed good. "It's alright. I don't need anything fancy." he reassured her.

karly smiled at her sister. "its okay sissy. kaedin said the chicken was expensive. i'll sell some of my bracelets to get extra money!" she nodded.

kayleigh blushed at her sister's words. she didn't want peter to know how poor they really were. they had a very tight budget. they lived off of what their (very successful) sister had left them, the money kayleigh could make with her three jobs, the money kaedin made with his three jobs, and whatever karly decided she wanted to do that month.

He almost felt guilty as they ate, he put his utensils in his plate after he was done and looked around at them. "I'll tell you what - I can take you all out for dinner every Friday, so you won't have sell as many bracelets."

karly dropped her silverware at his words. she stared at him with her jaw dropped. "take us OUT?!" she asked loudly, pushing herself out of her seat. karly hadn't been out in so long. she couldn't remember the last time they went out.

kayleigh choked on a piece of pasta. "peter! no! you don't have to do that! im working extra hours this week!" she exclaimed, looking at him. she couldn't help but smile...

His face contorted into an expression of shock and worry for a minute as Karly exclaimed with surprise, but then melted into amusement. "Well, it would be a pleasure. You guys fed me, and I can't cook, so that's the only way I can think of repaying you."
