Kayleigh sighed softly. "Would you mind helping Karly while I make her dinner?" She asked, looking a tPeter with a smile.

"With her homework?" he questioned, just to clarify his purpose at the moment.

kayleigh nodded. "it's easy. just teaching her basic shapes and words." she said, shrugging as she started cutting up the chicken.

"Alright.." he nodded, and headed over to where Karly was. "Hi, Karly. Would you mind if I took a peek at your homework?" he asked the little girl gently.

karly grinned, nodding softly. "please help!" she laughed, patting a chair beside her.

kayleigh giggled and put the chicken into a pan, cooking it.

He grinned slightly and sat in the chair next to Karly, peeking at her paper. "So, tell me which ones you are stuck on.. and this one is wrong." he pointed to a triangle which she had wrote square under.

karly groaned and erased it. "this thing! it has no sides! its just a hole!" she said, pointing to a circle. "its not even a shape." she said, shaking her head.

kayleigh walked into the room, leaving the chicken to cook. she giggled, sitting across from peter as she did some of her own homework.

He laughed a little. "It's still a shape though. Anything with complete sides and lines is considered a whole shape. It's called a circle." he explained, looking up as Kayleigh sat down as well.

karly looked at him. "how?" she asked.

Which brings us back to the circle, since the description matches it. Another name for complete shapes is a polygon."he said, nerd switch turned on.
