She sniffed around the forest for any signs of her crew. As she came to the end of the forest, all she saw was more beach. Either she went in a circle or she took a wrong turn. She stepped out of the bushes and to her surprise and delight she spotted one of her clan mates. She dashed over to them only to stop, the cat she found was bloodied and still. Their gray pelt once shiny was now dull, their stripes looking like scars. A horrified gasp escaped her mouth, for the cat she found was her father Stormshade. She nudged him but he felt cold. She lay close to her father's side with her nose in his fur, catching his coconut scent. She gave a small smile for her father's scent was comforting. After a long while she picked up the body and swam into the ocean with it and let go of her father. As his body sank she gave a silent goodbye. Goodbye dad, you and Rustypelt taught me so much. And I know I'll miss you dearly, watch over everyone in the locker ok? she swam back to the shore and just sat on the beach letting the memories flood her mind.

“I didn’t set a paw outside camp!” Lunarkit lies her tail lashing but her voice calm and even. “You didn’t see me leave or enter. You have no pride and therefore cannot punish me.” Lunarkit knew she was wrong but this cat although deserving all of her respect should have been there to protect her when she was dying. Not now. When she went two steps outside of camp. She didn’t want to offend her leader more and keeping her temper in control she bowed he head again “sorry, this will not happen again. As my leader I accept your punishment. No matter how foul of a punishment you chose. I great master of all deserving respect” She said the last bit under her breath as she stalked back into the Nursery not waiting to be dismissed. When inside she clawed at the walls. She was so frustrated. First Sunpaw got hurt and now her becoming an apprentice was gagging pulled back. She sighed There’s nothing you can do about it Lunarkit. Just accept it. Please. For you own good. She said this over and over to herself as she lay back into her nest and dozed of to sleep.
