softpaw nodded respectfully despite his doubtful previous thoughts on midnightstar. "it's not problem, really. and, of course, midnightstar." he insisted, beginning to grab some stored moss to line riverpaw's guest bed before pausing after a strong rush of realization hit him. "lunarkit!" his eyes widened. "where in starclan did that kit go?" he mumbled, shaking his head as he sniffed the air for her scent. "midnightstar, can you send someone out to find where lunarkit went? i can't go out there alone." he muttered the last part of his sentence. sure, he's able to function like a normal cat, but the last time we went out in the forest alone, he couldn't see the large hawk swooping towards him on his right side because of his stupid, stupid blindness.

Cloverspeck nodded, his tail flickering in excitement. He loved patrolling, as it was a great opportunity to
explore, practice his hunting a bit and even disobey authority if he was feeling up to it. He looked to his
companions, the ones that would be joining him tonight. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

Ravenleap directed her attention towards the deputy, and got up onto her paws.
"I'll see you later Splashspots, I can tell you about the patrol when we get back, if you want."
The she-cat bid her clan mate farewell, and padded over to where Brightmoon was standing. Ravenleap didn't mind hunting patrols, in fact she enjoyed them. But border patrols... They were far from her favorite thing. Nothing ever happened, true, but she couldn't help but be afraid of the possibilities. A fight might break out, some of their territory may be claimed by a patrol larger than theirs... Really anything could go wrong. Shaking her head as if to cause the negative thoughts to scatter, Ravenleap dipped her head in respect to Brightmoon, and waited for her to give the all clear.

Midnightstar glanced over towards where Lunarkit had went dashing out of camp and turned to Softpaw, "I'll go get her, do not worry about it." The tom told Softpaw with a reassuring look, he turned around and padded away from the medicine cat's den and broke into a quick trot, 'That kit needs to learn her place.., just when I was thinking about making her a apprentice.' he thought bitterly as he shook his head in disappointment.

"I am almost a warrior, I don't need you looking after me like a medicine cat." Sunpaw told her as he rolled his eyes. Sunpaw looked confused why Lunarkit had hid behind him, but when he looked up he saw a kittypet ahead who greeted them. "Hi. Is there something you want." Sunpaw asked them. It was only a silly kittypet.

The kittypet looked friendly enough so Lunarkit padded out from behind Sunpaw to look at the kitty pet closer. “Hi,” she squealed and jumped back expecting an attack. When she was a roughe it was common for other older rouges and kittypets to pick on the kits and she was terrified that that would happen again. Although.... she did have Sunpaw to protect her. Still. She was too scared to face cats that weren’t in her clan. Instead she scampered back to camp and into the Nursery. She really hoped that no cat had noticed her absence.

softpaw nodded and watched as his leader trotted out of the camp. silly kit. hopefully she learns. he shrugged to himself, then blinked in confusion as he heard the apprentice speak. "sunpaw did this? of course he did," he grunted, studying riverpaw's forehead closely. "i'll give him a smack in the muzzle when i see his dratted face again." he growled. "doesn't know how to respect others..." he mumbled on, pressing his paw against riverpaw's neck again. her pulse still seemed to be a little too slow for his liking, but at least she was alive and awake, for the most part.

splashspots dipped her head in farewell to her fellow clanmate. "keep your eyes peeled! tell me all about the patrol later." she called to ravenleap as she began to leave the camp. she watched as midnightstar urgently trotted through the camp and shook her head in both confusion and amusement. sunpaw just had to mess up the peaceful feelings of the morning.

A black and brown dappled cat lies unconscious on the beach. She had a harrowing journey through rough seas wanting to drown her and take her to Davey Jones's locker and rocks wanting to hurt her. And through it all she kept swimming, hoping the island that she saw was safe and that some of the crew made it. Once there she was so tired, she passed out.
