Silverpaw backed away from Sunpaw, a soft growl escaping her lips. She was hesitant to do anything, not wanting to get into trouble or cause even more tension between them. Usually the young she-cat was bubbly and confident but Sunpaw had put her in a bad mood. Luckily, Riverpaw stepped between them, muttering a few words the the fired-up tom. The silver she-cat turned to face Riverpaw, "thank you!" she whispered.
Silverpaw continued to watch the two throw insults at each other. At first she laughed, finding the remarks well-humored but the conversation turned into a vicious brawl and Riverpaw jumped at Sunpaw, hissing and spitting. Silverpaw dashed in between them, "Stop!" She argued, nervous they would hurt them. "This is a pointless fight!" she insisted, putting herself between the two annoyed apprentices.

Ravenleap picked out a fair sized rabbit and put it in between the two of them to share. But before she could dig in, she heard Softpaw's greeting, and saw him staring up at her.
"I'm fine, how about you?" She asked, pulling her eyes away from the rabbit.
Much to her embarrassment her stomach let out another growl. I need to eat something soon, or I'll wake up the whole Clan with my stomach. Ravenleap thought bitterly. But just as she was about to take the first bite, she sensed Brightmoon coming up behind her.
After hearing her news, Ravenleap dipped her head in respect.
"I'll be there... Just as soon as I finish this rabbit." She said half-jokingly.

softpaw kept silent until his deputy and ravenleap were finished with their... conversation? he purred respectfully at his deputy before continuing. "eh, i slept well, but my positioning wasn't the best." he chuckled as he stretched out his back, grunting at the stiffness of his poor back. he'd slept on his back and, well, accidentally rolled out of his nest, which meant that he'd spent most of his slumber on his back without any type of cushioning. "i'll get going, now. enjoy your patrol, ravenleap!" he mewed, flicking his tail as a farewell to the two she-cats. he spotted his mentor and trotted over to her, mewing yet another greeting. "good morning, shadestorm."

splahspots touched her tail to ravenleap's side. "poor ol' ravenleap," she teased. she took a final bite of her mouse before sitting back on her haunches. "hopefully you don't come across any trouble out there." she mumbled, licking around her muzzle.

The smokey black maine coon nodded even if the patrol was a bit small. He had nothing against it, he trusted Brightmoon with the position of deputy for a reason. He wasn't a fool for picking the she cat, even if she was a bit more cheery then he wanted to but the tom had no problem with that, he was thankful for the feline.

Sunpaw snarled as he slammed his head into Riverpaw's headbutting as he kicked her under her stomach forcing her off of him. A tint of crimson red blood oozed down his left cheek, "Are you? Maybe you're just a traitor to this clan..." Sunpaw muttered his smug expression still on his face. Sunpaw narrowed his eyes over towards Silverpaw and scowled, "You're right, This is pointless. Because I am fighting her." Sunpaw laughed in a mocking tone. He turned around and stalked out of den his tail lashing back and forth.

She had heard hissing not faraway. She approached
the two apprentices.

Questioned Brightmoon, directing the question more to Silverpaw
then Riverpaw. What did happen? And whose fault was it?

Riverpaw fell back, shocked as Sunpaw head butted her.
One of her two front large canines fell out. It was
the left one. Now she only had one large front canine
and she was odd eyes. She struggled getting back to
her feet. She felt a warm substance trickle down her
face. All she could see in her right eye was red. It
was blood. A medium sized cut was above on her
forehead from Sunpaw's headbutt. She felt dizzy.
She saw Brightmoon approach her, but she could'nt
make out her words. The world was spinning and
spinning and spinning. She closed her eyes and the
world turned black.

Ravenleap let out a deep sigh and shrugged. Before anything else could happen, she dug into her rabbit, doing her best to eat slowly. By the time she was almost done, she turned to see Brightmoon padding away towards Riverpaw and Silverpaw. What happened...? She thought, leaning forward a bit to try and get a peek, but they were too far away to see much. Eventually Ravenleap let it go and turned back to Splashspots.
"Who knows what might happen on patrol? It's usually uneventful, though." Ravenleap sighed, looking down at her paws.
As far as she could remember, patrols tended to be quiet. PebbleClan tended to keep to themselves, and the most conflict they ever had between the Clans were petty border skirmishes and disagreements over prey crossing the border.
"As long as we don't have to fight... It'll be fine. I'm not that great of a fighter." She mumbled, mostly to herself.

Silverpaw stared in horror at Riverpaw, shock etched on her face. "It....was..Sun..Sunpaw.." The small apprentice stumbled on her words, uneasy about the whole situation and how fast it had escalated. She trotted over to Riverpaw, letting her lean against Silverpaw for support. "Let's..let's go see Shadestorm." Silverpaw's voice shook as she coaxed the unnerved she-cat to her feet. She knew Riverpaw would recover but tensions between the three 'paws were bound to worsen and their friendship with the tom looked unlikely. Silverpaw's mood dampened even further when she realised it was her own fault the fight had occurred and the guilt weighed her down as she glanced at her battered clanmate.

Midnightstar paid no mind to what was happening, if it wasn't his business or important the tom would leave it alone and simply ignored it. The Maine coon feline yawn and laid down on top of his boulder his tail flicking back and forth.

Mistycreek nodded and scanned the camp for the deputy, fine she spotted the familiar pelt who was with a few others. Mistycreek looked a bit confused, "I think something happened..." Mistycreek whispered as she [added towards Brightmoon.

Sunpaw felt his forehead throb as he stalked away farther from the apprentice's den, his tail lashed in annoyance as he let out a annoying huff. 'I don't care what happened to her at all.' Sunpaw bounded towards the exit of the camp and crouched down ready to stalk out of camp. He watched as cats gather around Riverpaw and Silverpaw. His stomach churned softly feeling a bad, but he shook it away quickly and trotted out of camp knowing he would get scolded if he didn't move now.

of Riverpaw, taking most of the weight from
Silverpaw. Poor apprentice... The she-cat
hoped the apprentice would be okay. She carried
Riverpaw over to the medicine cats' den.
"Shadestorm, we could use you right now!"
Meowed Brightmoon calmly but with a hint of urgency in her voice.
Why wasn't Midnightstar doing anything? this was HIS clan.

softpaw frowned as he heard the commotion all around him. he flicked his tail towards shadestorm, offering to take care of the situation. once he'd heard the urgent calls for a medicine cat, he trotted over to the populated area of the camp. "what's the matter?" he asked, raising his voice to top the various voices all around him. he looked down at riverpaw, blinking in surprise before pressing his muzzle to the apprentice's neck, checking to see if she was breathing properly.

splashspots sighed, watching as the clan fussed over poor riverpaw. "heh, well, let's hope this patrol is alike the others. she mewed. "hopefully pebbleclan is busy doing whatever it is they do." she muttered, a bit of amusement in her voice. it was great knowing that oceanclan wasn't the only clan in the area, but it was also really frustrating at the same time. two clans in one area meant less prey and space.
