Manepaw stopped and dropped his body low to the ground, his tail hovering above the ground and his ears straight up so as to be totally aware to compensate for his blind eye.

[Wanderer.]

Sunpaw immediately raised her hackles and charged after her mentor. I'll prove I'm not useless! She thought as her pride got the best of her. Sunpaw ran to the back of the badger and bit her teeth in to its back before jumping out the way and scratching it's muzzle as it snapped at her. "Foxpaw!" She called as she jumped out the way again. "Are you okay?" She decided she'd be best as a distraction and ran infront of the badger teunting it and jumping out of the way when it tried to get her.

Foxpaw stepped back in surprise as her clanmates attacked the badger. "Yes, I'm fine." she replied, her voice shaking slightly. She ran at the badger and dumbly rammed into it's stomach. She fell back after she hit the badger. It didn't do anything! She paniced, she was trapped under the badger, frozen in fear. She crouched down and closed her eyes, wishing it was all just a dream.

[Wanderer.]

Sunpaw saw her friend about to be crushed and without thinking leaped forward, claws unsheathed, aiming for the badgers face. She scratched its muzzle and used its nose as a launching pad to jump off and start to run, praying it would follow her in the direction she was going, and not continue to the camp.

Foxpaw sat up once the badger began to follow Sunpaw. She blinked in confusion Did that badger just talk? The deep voice of the badger was ringing in her head, like an annoying song that gets stuck in your head. "I'll get you for this!" it had said. Shaking her head, she dashed off to get more help, yowling "Help! Help, badger attack!! Come help defeat it!"

[Wanderer.]

Sunpaw looked behind her and felt almost no fear as she saw the badger running after her, only adreniline. She put on the speed and raced through the undergrowth and trees, squeezing through smaller spaces and jumping to aggrivate it and give her a lead.

Foxpaw burst into the clearing Wolffang and Pepperstar were. "Help! There's a badger chasing Sunpaw!" she mewed loudly.

Crowflight prepared to pounce onto the badger along with Hollyfur when she suddenly saw Sunpaw leap at it, "Sunpaw, I told you to get PepperStar! Get back now, you'll be hurt!" She screached at the apprentice, terrified for her safety, her attention was torn from Sunpaw and back at to the badger as it let out an angry roar, she then noticed Hollyfur still clinging to it's back. "Hollyfur no!" She ran towards the badger but it was too late, the badger rolled onto it's side, crushing Hollyfur. "Foxpaw, Sunpaw get back! Both of you, now! I need to get that badger off of Hollyfur!" Screaching she charged the badger and ran straight for it's face, clawing at it's ears and eyes, trying to get it to roll over.

Hollyfur struggles to breath as she was pinned down by the badger, StarClan don't let me die like this! She pleaded. Just when she thought she was going to die, she felt the weight on her lift as the badger got back up.

Wolffang sprang to his paws. "Where are they?"

As Sunpaw raced to the border with the badger on her heels she realised she had no escape. If she stopped, the badger would kill her and if she turned back it would follow her. It wasn't really a choice, she already knew what she would do as soon as the thought came to her mind. She'd run as far as she could and bring the badger away, and when she knew it wouldn't find it's way back she'd turn and try to scare it off as much as she could. If she had to go, she would go down fighting. With her mind set she continued to race away from the Clans, into the unknown.
