The smokey black maine coon nodded even if the patrol was a bit small. He had nothing against it, he trusted Brightmoon with the position of deputy for a reason. Foxpath woke up with a start, letting out a huff as he glanced around the warrior den. After getting up and shaking off any moss that clung to his coat, he padded out of the warrior den. Glancing around silently looking for his calico apprentice. Seeing that he wasn't out in camp, he figured his apprentice was probably still in the apprentices den. Giving a soft hum the tom padded over to the prey-pile, and picked out shrew to eat.

She'd been out fishing for sense dawn, and was now just returning to camp. In her jaws hung some about two fish and a mouse she had caught on her way back. Palestream padded over to the prey-pile to drop her prey off, before glancing around hoping that she would be put on a patrol.

softpaw slowly walked over to the fresh-kill pile, picking out a smaller mouse. he dipped his head respectfully to splashspots and ravenleap before deciding to converse with the two mollies. "how do you do? he asked, trying to study ravenleap's face, but failing. his worsening eyesight made him feel like the most useless cat in the clan. he couldn't see half the things his clanmates can see and it often lead to him being the underdog in urgent times, like when a queen is kitting, or when a cat is suffering from major wounds. he blinked a few times to clear himself of this negative mindset - he'll never be the best medicine cat apprentice if he's always this negative!

Shadestorm stirred a bit in her sleep. She seemed to be dreaming but was really enjoying a nice, deep sleep. Soon after, she was awoken by the hustle and bustle of the rest of the clan. Grumbling to herself, she wondered why everyone was up so early, but soon realized that she was one of the last ones up. Whoops, she thought drily to herself. I guess I should go see what Softpaw is up to. She slowly got up from her position on the ground, as if she could catch a few more moments of sleep while she could, and poked her head out of the medicine cat's den. She spotted him talking to two other warriors and decided to leave him be.
