What date did you register as a CS member?: Originally I became a member back in October of 2008. But I joined accounts with an ex boyfriend and had my original account deleted. So as far as this account says November of 2008.

How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying): 1414.

Without posting your actual age, are you old enough to apply for this position?: I am well over the age minimum you noted in the original post.

How many days a week do you usually visit CS? 7 days a week.

How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit? I'm on various hours each day, minimum 2-4 hours, but on a day I don't have class, 5 days of the week I'm on roughly 10 or so hours. I keep a few tabs open for CS so long as my computer is on and I'm at it.

Have you moderated on any other forums before? I am actually the admin of a DRoP RP forum that has been running strong since October of 2009. Benecio I am also the Admin for a multi topic RP Forum that has just recently gone inactive but was running strong since October of 2008 up until last month. MuseFx. I have also been a Moderator on Firestone (Inactive Now), Alkmene (Inactive Now). I have plenty of Moderating experience when it comes to Role Playing specially.

Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? I've roleplayed several places outside of CS. The above listed places, Neopets, Subeta, Ichumon. And many that have gone to IM to keep up the pace and personal ideas from being snagged.

Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before? One or two. I don't typically see a lot of topics for what I like to RP, so I tend to just read through RP's on here when I've got nothing else to do because many of the people on here have a lot of talent in the RP boards.

Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS? Because I spend too much time on CS not being helpful just trading and minding my own. I'd love to actually have some worth to the time I spend on here, and what better way than to help in an area I feel very adept at helping with? I've been role playing for several years now, and as stated my own DRoP site has been going strong for over a year, with no signs of slowing down, just got two new members the other day. I've helped to lead a friendly community that enjoys talking and role playing, and I'd like to bring what I have to Benecio. I don't feel I'm more deserving than anyone else, I just think that I'm one of those that can do a very good job with this.

Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you run your own roleplay website before, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?) Didn't see this and pretty much answered it in my why I want the spot. -.-

I have a question, if you are a roleplay moderator and something really big happens in your life; preventing you from getting on, how long before your position is terminated?

~Dark Koneko~ wrote:I have a question, if you are a roleplay moderator and something really big happens in your life; preventing you from getting on, how long before your position is terminated?

it kind of depends on the situation, but for example:

if you had only had the job for a few months and then disappeared without an explanation for more than a couple of months then you would probably lose the position. If you just left for a few weeks then that would be fine, as long as you didn't do this regularly. Or if you were leaving for longer than a few weeks but were able to post an expected return date before you left, then that would probably be okay.

Basically, we need to be able to rely on you to come online often. And if you can't be online for a decent length of time, we need to be informed and to have some idea of when you might be back.

If you know that something will change in the near future which could restrict your computer access for any length of time, then it's probably not a good idea to make a commitment to a moderator role.

If you aren't expecting to have to take much time off for anything major, then don't worry about it. If something unexpected comes along then we'll understand that you need time off and that you couldn't have predicted it when you took the job.

Staff often take breaks for things like exams, performances, holidays, weddings, funerals, etc. We expect that all staff will need a break from time to time.

1. What date did you register as a CS member?:
    November 11, 2008
2. How many posts have you made in the forum (at the time of applying):
    1394; including this post ^^
3. Without posting your actual age, are you old enough to apply for this position?:
Why yes, and just in the nick of time; although I was certain I would be unable to apply for the position \o/
4. How many days a week do you usually visit CS?
Usually everyday, I might skip a day or two due to school work or a slightly busy schedule.
5. How many hours per day do you usually spend on CS, on a day that you do visit?
About two or three hours a day.
6. Have you moderated on any other forums before? If so, please link to them:
    No ;;
7. Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before? If there's any places in particular, please link to them:
I do a complete roleplay within my school and classmates, as well as practice story building skills with language arts workshops and advanced classes.
8. Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?
I haven't as of yet, but I do indeed love to watch jealously of the roleplay skills of several members.
9. Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
I feel that I could fulfill the position without any question. I am the certain type of user that can take charge and calm down a situation. I use words that suit the situation appropriately, that can either comfort a bullied player or scold at the correct level to the user who started the conflict. I feel that I could bring suitable suggestions or ideas to the table about editing the future of CS roleplay, as well as help users who are new to roleplays begin their own role play. I am excellent when it comes to choosing words, and I really do enjoy helping people. I cherish that feeling of, "I've been really helpful to this person!", and I do wish I could do so with the same respect as a CS Staff Member. I also can act to a situation quickly, and without hesitation of what I should do. I can sort out the base issues and hand out the deserved consequences without bias or nepotism.
10. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:
I am wonderful at building story details and plots, as well as retaining close to the storyline itself. I can also inform other members about the aspects and dynamics of words, their powerful meanings and how to proportionally use vocabulary in relation to the role play. I can connect with users on a professional level, as well as an appropriate, strictly business emotional level. I have a love for teaching and in general helping out. I also can quickly spot the start of a conflict easily, and keep an eye on it until it has simmered down or until I can jump in and act accordingly.

Thank you so much for giving me the chance of applying to be a CS Staff Member; I am confident that I will further enhance the structure of the rules, and enforce them as well as work with others to agree on a single solution to a growing problem c:
