Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I feel like it hasn't been that long since my last post, but a lot has happened! This week has had a lot of ups and downs, today a bit more of a down - but I've got a good feeling that spending some time sharing these new characters and working on some artwork today should help lift me up a bit.

IntroductionsI've surprised myself the most, I think, with a huge influx of kalons the last week or so. I don't even know what to do, I'm practically buried in new kids! I love them all to bits, though, so it's about time for some introductions!
Lazarus - Male - Dystopian FutureI swear this will be the last time I let
michael. be so nice to me - though I can't thank them enough for this beautiful kalon. Seriously, I don't know how my heart hasn't exploded from the kindness I'll never ever be able to repay, honestly.
Lazarus is a prideful newscaster who has an excess of money and from an outsider's view, very little purpose. He spends his days reporting the most gruesome headlines with a smile on his face, coming off far more concerned about his own looks and public face than anything else. In a lot of ways, that is true, but it isn't the only thing he's good for. While he's sitting in the hot seat, he's also the perfect person to deliver a headline in just the right way - which could make or break a career, tilt an issue… He may be fed a script, but his little "slip ups" can do well to make him a hefty bit of money on the side. He'd never let on to his game, of course, but he's quite good at putting on a face and smiling away a disaster.
Remedy Todd - Female - UndecidedThis gorgeous girl was made by the incredibly talented
julibee, and I can't thank them enough?? She turned out absolutely incredible! The design is an idea I've had for a long time, based on lightning storms. They're a pretty special part of my life, and bring me back to high school summers and my first few dates with my fiancé. I'm so lucky to have such a gorgeous kalon to reflect that!
I'm not entirely sure what to do with her personality yet, as I haven't decided what universe I'd like to have her in. I've got some ideas for each of the universes I've been using (medieval/fantasy, modern, and dystopian future) but I just can't decide which one is my favorite. What I do know for sure is that her personality is definitely going to reflect those wild and carefree nights, though where it takes her is yet to see!
Rebexi - Doesn't identify with gender (intersex) - Dystopian FutureThis precious kit I'm so thankful for certainly got my heart pounding! I can't believe I was fast enough to grab them from
.lucifer when they held that giveaway back on Easter day, I think it was.
Rebexi is a concept I'd originally created for a contest, and I'm so excited to have a kalon that I feel really fits them! Rebexi was a lab-grown-and-raised kalon who was originally designed to be a producer of antibodies to fight off the manmade diseases and biochemical warfare that takes place quite frequently in my futuristic world. They proved themselves to be a very quick learner, however, and incredibly talented at picking up and retaining information. Because of this, Progress Labs decided to start a new experiment - sending one of their creations out into the world to see how they could adapt. Trained by
Dr. Ebon Avrich, Rebexi doesn't know much about their mission or what they're supposed to do once they leave the labs. They only know that they're leaving the labs of the first time, and that they'll be monitored and contacted "if need be." But they're eager, excited to get out into the world and make a change and a difference. How they do that… well, that may be yet in question.
Valence - Male - UndecidedThis handsome fellow came from .lucifer as well, though I don't know how on earth I ended up with two precious babies. I don't have very much decided for his personality, as again I'm not sure where I'd like him to end up. I'm thinking he'll probably fall into my futuristic universe, though I'm a little tempted to make him a medieval bard lol. Either way, just look at those cute fluffy ears! I've loved his design for a long time, and I'm so excited to figure out what's next for him!
Jolaq Vantes - Male - Dystopian FutureThis child was certainly the biggest surprise of all - I'm sure I don't have to say it for those of you who were keeping up with the anniversary adopts, but this gorgeous aquamarine kalon was made by
Obliivous and I'm still in complete shock that I won??
This is Jolaq, another member of my futuristic world I'm working on building, though he's got a more realistic expectation of what's happening out in the real world. He and his younger sister grew up with their mom for their early years, but she disappeared around the time he hit 9 years old. He quickly took over the role of caretaker, stealing and scavenging and doing whatever it took to get by. When he was 13, the city they were staying in was hit by a bioweapon that got his sister deathly ill, and there really wasn't anything he could do. Hospitals were full and they didn't have money anyway, so he cared for her as best he could, but she wasn't able to fight it off. Left alone, Jolaq eventually scrounged his way up into renting a little hole-in-the-wall apartment, just a single open room with a shared bathroom area in the building. It's a really awful place, but it's a roof over his head - something he hasn't had in an incredibly long time. At 22, he's spent a lot of his time lost in just trying to stay alive. Now that it isn't quite so bad, he's struggling to get out of his head - to stop the awful thoughts and memories from creeping up on him. He certainly doesn't feel like he can change the world, but he knows he has to do something to get himself out of this rut. The question is, what can someone like him do? He hardly has even a name, let alone any education, or industry-useful skills. He knows how to survive, but what else? It's a troubling thought, but he can't live like this forever. There has to be something else, something more.

tuna fish, I still can't believe I was lucky enough to win the little raffle for them!
Next up, I ordered a few chibis of Powder, Rita, and Kibasha from
croaky, and they turned out so cute!
And lastly, this was a huge surprise from the fabulous
Lillybear, totally out of the blue!! They're so sweet, go shower them with love you guys. Look at how sweet Maurie looks!

im looking for relationships for all of them!! there's little bios for each. i love to headcanon, and sometimes rp, but as of late i've been a bit to busy for roleplay at the moment ;;. i'd prefer to chat over discord !
