Violet pulled away from the hug. She saw the tear fall down Carter's cheek. She softly wiped it away. Tears started falling down her cheeks, too. She cried for Carter. His mom. Her dad. She cried for everything that had happened in Carter's life and her's that had been useless until know.

A whole swirl of emotions gathered in Arya's mind. Her heart beat fast and a chill ran down her spine. Her mind was thinking a million things at once, and when her eyes closed, she was surprised to find a tear roll silently down her cheek. It was all so wonderful. She laid her hands around his neck. She didn't want this moment to end, but she knew it would inevitably. She withdrew and hugged Alex, hopefully before he saw that she was crying.

Alex smiled as she hugged him. He hadn't seen the tear swipe down her cheek. A wind came blowing his black and white checkered tie over his shoulder, but he ignored it.

Just as she reached out to shake Declan's hand, an image popped into her mind- Thalia and Alex kissing. Her eyes turned misty- This was what made her story NOT a Cinderella one. 'Really, mom?' She thought angrily, quickly shaking Declan's hand before turning towards the ocean sulkishly.

Violet lay down in the sand. "I dont deserve you for a boyfriend. I'm not pretty like Mistale, I'm not a good singer like AnnaBelle. I'm worthless. I wish I was dead." she said quietly as more tears rolled down her cheeks.
