"a regular mom. She kept the Demi god secret from Alex and i well that is until we shadow traveled to California. Other than that she was very kind and sweet, but could be strict" he said staring out at the ocean. "how bout you?"

"Alight." she sighed. She let go of his hand and pulled him in close for a hug, resting her head on his shoulder. "Even if I did go, I think I'd be a wreck the whole time. My dad died in a hospital. It's a horrible thing to watch someone die. I hope you never have to see it." she said. "I'm so sorry Carter. I love you." she whispered.

Drew rubbed her back. "I've always wondered what it would be like to have a dad. Someone to play catch with or shoot hoops" he replied frowning.

Arya didn't moe for a second. Her heart stopped and her eyes closed. Only for a split second. He did like her?! or was he just saying that. She forgot to hide her skeptisism on her face... Surely nobody liked her like that.. Nobody ever had- or if they did, they had never told her before. She wondered if...
