Jackson said goodnight to her too and fell asleep.

Estrella shrugged. “Where are we going?”, she asked, following behind Mason.

“A surprise.” He said. “Get on your swimsuit.” He opened her door and pushed her in gently. He changed into his swimsuit.

In the middle of the night, Erin woke up. She looked out the window. Good. 7/11 is still open. “Jacky, I’m getting a slushy.” She said, shaking him awake.

Estrella changed into her swimsuit and then came back out. “It’s literally dark outside, who swims at night?”, she asked going back to where Mason was.

Jackson opened his eyes slightly and nodded. “Do you want me to go with you?”, he asked, a small smile forming on his lips.

“It’s really cool,” he said, passing her a pair of goggles. “You’ll be needing these.” He pressed a button and they lit up. “C’mon.”

“Only if you want to.” Erin smiled and sat down on the bed,

Jackson got up and stretched, then picked up Erin in a hug, “of course I want to go”, he replied kissing her cheek.

Estrella followed Mason. “Ok if you say so”, she replied.

Erin smiled and picked up her purse. She hugged Jackson. “I like slushees.” She said.

Mason went to the beach. “Follow me.” He swam to a cave.

“I like them too but mostly on hot days”, he explained.

Estrella followed Mason into the cave.

“Well, I just like them in general.” She said, walking across the street.

“Here it is.” He Looked at it. There was a waterproof lantern hanging from the rocks.

Jackson followed her to 7/11, looking around at the snacks.

Estrella looked at the waterproof lantern. “What are we going to do with that?”, she asked curiously.

“Get anything you want.” Erin said, and kissed his cheek before getting her slushy.

“Well...” He motioned for her to come down the cave a little. “I like going here.” He said, taking the lantern. “It’s above the water, and it never floods.” He smiled at her and kissed her cheek.
