I think they mean food colouring. But, yes, it does have to be edible. Except for things like toothpicks (to hold it together) and candles.

Just bought a base, and now I'll start doing the decorating. Hope I make everything good, but I kinda doubt I will win xD Oh well *goes to the kitchen*

EDIT: I finished it in three hours, but that's because I probably live in a no-cake land, so I had only a few materials... Well, if I have time next week I'll go to the center of the city to buy more decorative things and such, and make a new one... I bet everyone else's cakes will be amazing

When do the results come in?

And, is there already a gallery?

The staff will start judging on 30th April and results should come out not long after and there will be a gallery of all submitted cakes after the contest is ended. ;3

Wait, so does that mean they won't start judging until April 30th? That's like, a whole month of waiting.

It is a long time, but some people waited two months. O.O They made it so long because they want everyone thats wants to to get a chance to enter.

I am probablye thinking of making mine this weekend, but I am not sure what to make the dog out of. It will be quite large, any ideas? This sounds great sooooo far, and good luck to all of you out there!

Sugar dough is the best thing for that. use food colouring to colour it!
