Reale watched as Matt transformed completely, leaping up onto his shoulder for a moment as his mouth became a beak and his words were cut short by a high pitched shriek. "Don't lose yourself Matt!" Reale started to say before the twins showed up again. "I thought I told you two to stay with Ashlii." He muttered as they started talking to Matt.
The hawk panicked and tried to take off, but his talons got tangled in Reale's shirt, sending Matt into a flapping, shrieking mass of feathers.
Leaning his head away enough that Matt's wings were no longer slapping him across the face, he stood in silence, waiting for him to either calm down or break free. Speaking would no longer do any good. Matt had lost his human consciousness, replaced by that of the hawk form he was now in.
Finally the talons came free from his shirt, though the wind knocked Matt onto the shoulder of the panther that had showed up. "My heck you guys, I said that we shouldn't all be in the same place! It's dangerous!!" He grumbled, getting nervous, making his dog form come faster, his limbs beginning to twist and his body shrinking slightly.
Gently he reached out toward Matt, holding out one arm, now covered in thick brown fur. "Come on, we've got to get out of this parking lot and to the place I was talking about earlier. Remember Matt? Somewhere safe where the humans won't bother you while you're shifted."
His voice was calm despite the irritation he felt at the other shifts who had appeared suddenly. He just hoped they would all hold onto their human sense. It wouldn't do to have two wolf hybrids and a panther running rampant around the school. "You three, if you can shift back, you need to go back to class. Or at least find Ashlii. There are way too many of us in one place, especially with all four of you shifted. Do you even realize how strange and abnormal it would look to any passers by to see me standing here talking to wolves, a panther, and a hawk? Especially when I'm midway between my human and dog form."
He returned his attention to Matt, eyes pleading with him to put enough trust in the human/dog standing before him to allow Reale to take him somewhere safe until he returned to his human consciousness. "I promise, I won't hurt you Matt." He murmured gently, even as his face began to change, a long muzzle growing as his transformation became complete.
The mutt that now stood in Reale's place was lean with bright teal eyes. His tail waved smoothly back and forth for a moment before he let out a soft yip and jerked his head in the direction he was originally leading Matt. Great. This looks a whole lot better, a common mutt standing around with a panther, two wolves, and a hawk. He thought, rolling his eyes slightly as sarchasm marred the thought.
