Shadowscar nodded slowly and watched as the Tom wandered off. Tired herself, she crawled into her comfortable moss bad that was fresh, thanks to Sablepaw, and curled up into a tight ball of ebony fur.

Wolfhowl sat upon the old Willow tree he had called his own, the tree reminding him of the old Clan he had once lived in that was named after the beautiful trees. His ears flicked to the surrounding Blackbirds circling the tree, warning him that danger was nearby. He stepped down from branch to branch until he had hit the ground with his massive white paws, and glanced around; nothing seemed out of place, so how could there be any danger?

The pain in her shoulder is what made Hollyfrost get up so early in the morning. The cream-colored she-cat was sitting just at the mouth of the Warrior's den when she heard a cat jump down from a tree. She perked her ears and lifted her head to see Wolfhowl looking a bit distraught. Concerned, she half padded half limped over to the Tom and bowed her head slightly, "Is everything alright, Wolfhowl?"

[Noctali]

Wolfhowl nearly jumped out of his pelt when the She-cat known as Hollyfrost spoke up, but slowly shook his head. "No, I wouldn't say so. Look." His tail flicked towards the sky and towards the three black birds circling the tree he had just stepped down from. "There is danger nearby. They wouldn't be circling around a spot for nothing, and it isn't prey; there are too many of them."

Hollyfrost looked up at the sky and nervously narrowed her eyes at the sight of the three black birds, "This isn't good," she mewed softly, "What in the name of StarClan do you think this could mean?" she asked, turning back to the Tom. "Have Sablepaw or Shadowscar had any visits from StarClan?"

{Should we add a cat or two to StarClan just in case? Or just make it up as we go?}

Wolfhowl slowly shook his head. "To my knowledge, neither of them have heard from Starclan. It must be some sort of fox in the area." His tail slowly drooped to the ground as the many possibilities of what could happen hit him. "If I was in charge, I'd order everyone to stay away from the hunting grounds for the day."

Hollyfrost shuddered at the thought of a fox being in the area. She shook her head and looked up at Wolfhowl, "Well perhaps you could pass the news on over to Moonstar so he can let everyone know not to go out hunting for today. Or at least try and hunt elsewhere."

Valorsoul bowled into camp, panting furiously as he left a bloody trail behind him. He ignored some of the cats that had come out to see what was the matter and he dashed into Shadowscar's den, "Shadowscar!" he yowled and stopped at the mouth of her den. His chest was heaving heavily and trickles of blood were running down from his flank and shoulders.
