What's up with there being a lot less "Gacha"/lucky box type pets this year? There's only one grab-box that you get with tokens this year.

I kind of prefer boxes where you don't know what you'll get. Trading eggs to get a guaranteed pet is nice, too, but there's just a big imbalance with this event, in my opinion.

Lol, years before we always get a lot of complaints that there’s too many of those.
Tbh I like the fact we aren’t overwhelmed with them. A couple is fine but a lot is a waste of tokens and can be frustrating. I’d say only a couple in an event makes it a bit of fun chance.

Last I heard it’s still 25o, and I haven’t seen a post saying otherwise. =)
I have three to go until I hit it, I just hope in those three I magically get the two eggs I’m missing.

It's still 250 yeah. At this point it could still be raised once more, we've had 300 in 2017 and 2016.
But I also wouldn't be terribly surprised if it wasn't. We've only gotten one mystery box so far, most of the trade-ins are very straightforward so you don't have to "waste" lots of eggs on the wrong outcomes.
