depending on where you live, arda-wigs.com has great wigs, if a bit pricey. something like their vivien or inigo might work? otherwise, there is always ebay. just have to be careful and find a reputable seller. no experience with contacts, sorry!
eeee I ordered a spider-man homecoming suit today, i'm so excited! i still have to figure out how to diy a face shell (no way i'm spending the 80 or so dollars on one), but that shouldnt be too much trouble. does anyone have any experience with safe diy binding methods? i don't really have the money to buy a real one, but I want to be safe (even if it's only for a day of con).

*bursts into thread*
So I have four weeks to finish my cosplay. I'm mostly done, just need to find lots of pins and paint the shirt- any ideas on doing a particular pattern on a shirt without a stencil or any art skills?
And my ride to the con feel through, so now Dad and my younger brother might be coming with me! But that means I have to throw together a cosplay for my brother in four weeks. He wants to go as the first Doctor (can't really show pics bc I'm on mobile sorry). I might be able to do it, but again, tips would be greatly appreciated!

you can make stencils fairly easily. I usually pull up whatever I want to do on my laptop blow it up using ctrl + method to whatever scale I need, trace it. glue it to some card then cut the but you need as a stencil out.
as for tips for cosplaying the first doctor, check secondhand shops.
Prepping my comp piece for a con in 4 weeks, a transformation dress. And then after that is done, I'll have loki to finish.

Bleakverse wrote:NZCC tomorrow, feel gutted about having to cut one of my cosplays, especially because I worked so hard on it to finish it too. but I'll take that cosplay to another con in the year, where being head to toe in leather, velvet and foam might be a bit more seasonally appropriate
Oh no, that's a pain!
I've nearly finished my cosplay, I just have a bit of work to do with props and stuff. Cutting it a bit fine, since my con is tomorrow, but oh well! Also my younger brother is doing a cosplay - I'll try to get some pictures up at some point today.

Judging Saturday, So nervous, I do better with a group, and I'm in this solo this con. Wish me luck everyone! UPDATE Judging seemed to go well the seemed impressed with everything I'd made, so that's cool might win something this year
Presentation sunday. Oh boy, gotta preform and hopefully my transformation dress works in front of all those people.UPDATE! Didn't win anything but enjoyed preforming and the dress worked without issue. I think I was crowd favourite judging by the cheers when transformation hit. So many people came up to me including the judges after the show and said I was amazing. I was overwhelmed with praise I got a little misty eyed.
ONTO PREP For dance groups, my birthday and the next convention.
