Why is their eye gone?
[okay! when I wrote this I didn't know tattletails were robots so think of that please!]
As you could imagine, this is a very sensitive subject for me. But here's the story. I'll let my friend tell it to you, shall I?
Taylor was on the way to be delivered, and she was on the top of the box when the van hit a pothole. It tipped into the ditch, wobbling. Her box fell over, causing her and the other Tattletails from that package to tumble out. Soon enough the van was righted and the rest of her box-mates returned to the box, but she rolled a little further and was hidden behind an anthill.
So she was sure she would lie there forever, forgotten. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
When Taylor awoke, she was being slobbered over. She opened her eyes and saw a huge pink monster. She screamed inside and kicked her legs, but she couldn't touch the dog. It lay down and started chewing on her, and she could feel her threads breaking.
"What's Keely found?" a voice sounded from above. "Here Keely! Here Keely!" To Taylor's relief, the dog let her go and padded away, but then a human's hand was holding her. "Oh!" The child lifted Taylor up and looked at her.
"Look, Mum, look what Keely did!"

Taylor blinks her one good eye, looking at you. "And so they took me home, and my human's mother stitched me up. She secured my broken seams and stitched a cross over the eye that Keely had torn off. I still live with them, and I'm still wary of all dogs."
