Katsumi rolled out of bed, dreading the day already. He checked his phone, 8:00 am.
He saw actually glad he hadn't woken up sooner, but stood and got some casual clothes on. He ate some cereal, still feeling empty. He was constantly checking his phone, expecting someone to text him, or a notification. It wasn't like he didn't have any friends, he just sensed the had plans.
Katsumi rolled his eyes, his neutral expression remaining. "Their loss." He would always think, setting his phone down. He stared out the window behind him. It was foggy, which was perfect weather. Almost no one would be outside,
so he could distract himself somewhere. He got up once more and put his hood on. He ate his last bite of cereal and walked out the door.
Katsumi started to walk to the park. He had to use his phone to direct himself because the fog was so thick. He didn't see anyone, mostly because it was Saturday. He hummed a quiet song while he walked, bored. He wished he was walking with someone, someone he could stand. Right now, he was just a lonely guy who couldn't believe he had friends.
Goodbye terrible season, hello spring! I still hate daylight savings time.

Cloudy... no foggy. The presence of the storm from two nights ago was still in the air as Shiro slipped out of his apartment. Rain and sun was never a good pairing, especially when it came to vision. Shiro rubbed his eyes as he rushed down the stairs, stepping into a small crowd of people with ease. It hadn't taken too long to get to the park, his apartment building was in the same district. Only a few blocks away if he had to be specific. His phone was out, a dim light illuminating the fog around the screen. And thus Shiro became lost in the digital world of art, artists, and the hope to get some sort of degree.
He hadn't gone very far into the park itself before crashing into someone. They were shorted, their head reaching his shoulders, maybe not even that far if they were barefoot. Shiro jumped back, his phone falling out of his hand as he bent down to retrieve it with a shaky, "Sorry 'bout that..." His free hand covered his face as he stood back up, a foolish grin plastered on it. "I-I didn't see you there... you weren't hurt were you?"

Katsumi shook with alarm, luckily his phone was in his pocket. "Don't worry, and no." He replied, seeming calmer than he actually was. He looked up at the person, his hands stuffed in his pockets. The man practically towered over him, Katsumi was an ant compared to him. He smiled nervously, and stuck out his hand. "I'm Katsumi Akiyama." He said. There was no point in crashing into someone with introducing yourself.

"Uhh...Shiro..." Awkwardly he stuck out his hand, only to drop it when he saw the time. "Ah- again, I'm sorry but I've really got to go!" With that he took off, sprinting down the path as his keys fell out of his pocket. It didn't really matter though, even if he had notice their sudden disappearance. His apartment was full of random items, an unreasonable amount of lamps, and a couch both meant to store items and provide a place for him to sleep.
Work wasn't all that far, and thankfully he'd made it with some time to spare. Shiro was nearly shaking as he changed into his uniform and began handing out drinks to customers. Six hours, he had to deal with six hours of this. The job was mind-numbing enough, allowing him to focus on the stranger. No, he wasn't a stranger, he was Katsumi. Probably some kid who was heading off to school, he wasn't all that tall anyways.

Katsumi nodded, and watched him go.
"Bye..?" He raised an eyebrow, and looked at the ground. He saw a keychain on the sidewalk, and quickly picked it up. He had the urge to follow him, but held back. "No, I don't want to look like a stalker. When I see him again, I'll give them to him." He muttered, stuffing it into his pocket. He began to keep walking to the park.
He wondered why he was in such a rush, to lose his keys. He soon made it to the park.
