Silverkit blinked. "Weird the hunting patrol is not back," she murmured, trying to glance around Stoatheart. Seeing Reedpelt, she blinked, noticing he was not acting like himself. "Uh, okay," she meowed, now confused as she went back to the nursery.

Onyxpaw let out a loud yawn, her teeth showing, before suddenly jumping onto her paws upon hearing reedpelt yowl. her tail stiffened as she raced out, before letting out a shocked yowl, upon seeing breezefire and firefeather. she slowly padded towards them, before letting out a small whine. her claws sheathed and unsheathed as she stared at the ground dully. two cats had been killed, most likely by one in her clan. her head whipped around, staring at the other cats, before letting out a low growl, and curling her long tail over her paws.

Silverkit froze a bit from the nursery, upon hearing Onyxpaw. Turning, she looked at the apprentice worry in her eyes. "Are you okay?" she asked.

onyxpaw whirled around, before her face softened upon meeting silverkit's, and she strode forward, a surge of protectiveness flaring in her heart as she herded silverkit back to the nursery, before saying in a soft voice "its nothing. one of the warriors decided to scare me".

The tom smiled as Silverkit left, but the smile soon faded as he turned around. Noticing Reedpelt, he quickly padded after the older warrior with anxiety. If anyone knew what to do, it was him.

The ginger tom was in the middle of having a bad dream, something had been making his fur crawl recently, causing his mind to wander and to lose sleep. When he had been awaken suddenly, his nightmare was now making it's appearance as a reality. The leader then rose to his paws and walked towards the clump of the two bodies laid. Although on the outside he seemed a bit emotionless, he was heartbroken inside. How could someone do this? Kill a medicine cat apprentice and warrior?
The tomcat then raised his head as he looked over the clan that he now considered to be unsafe. "Cats of RiverClan, there has been a great tragedy in our home. The brave and kind Breezefire and Firefeather has joined the ranks of StarClan, due to a member of our own Clan."

Silverkit let out a protest as Onyxpaw guided her back to the bursery. "Why can't I stay for the meeting?" She asked, seeing Foxstar. "Wait one of our clanmates killed Breezefire and Foxstrike? " She asked, fear settling in. "Onyxpaw can you stay in the nursery tonight?" She asked, ears back.
