he nodded "we really do" he said looking at the house it already looked like kids lived there due to his version of unpacking being take it out of the box nothing more. He turned on the tv the cooking network was on so he chose to just leave it there "What are you going to tell people?" he asked

she nodded "thank you," she said grabbing her bag "I shouldn't be late," she said heading for the door "by the way I was thinking maybe we could go somewhere special like a cruise or just somewhere exotic?" she asked.

Emily scooped Isabella up and held her close. She went and carefully sat on the couch wil her in her arms. She sighed quietly and bit her lip thinking. “I have no clue. I can’t exactly tell them the truth. Well I mean I could but I’m not sure. I’m trying to move on and past the whole Rose thing. I could just say that you have a young daughter and I’m helping to take care of her. “ she said. Emily looked at him.

Jake nodded as he headed to the car with her. He helped her in and headed towards her job. “Ooh. That sounds wonderful. I think we should do it. Just let me know what you’re thinking then we can work on planning it.” He said

he frowned slightly hating the way she spoke about rose he walked into the kitchen putting away the milk they had given him at the hospital "but you are her mother she's not just mine" he called into her. preparing the bottle for Isabella he stretched and yawned waiting for it to heat up enough to feed to her "I mean we could..." he trailed off with a sigh "never mind I don't know"

"what do you think Mexico? Africa? Cruise?" she asked stepping out when they got to the library pulling her bag over her shoulder she took a breath "think about it we can talk after work" she said.

Emily sighed softly and looked down at the beautiful baby girl before standing up and walking out to him. “You’re right. She’s our daughter and that’s what I will tell people. Oh and I’m sorry what I said about Rose. That was wrong and immature.” She said. Emily carefully took the bottle and began to feed Isabella. “I love you and I’m excited to have a family together.” Said Emily with a smile

Jake smiled and nodded. “Yeah I will look at tickets and we can discuss it. Have a great day.” He told her kindly before heading home.

"things can only got up from here" he said walking over wrapping his arm around Emily's waste and gently rubbing Isabella's head gently.

she nodded waving as he left before heading inside work waiving at her co-workers who were all shocked to finally see her.

Emily smiled softly and and kissed his cheek. She shortly leaned into him. “You’re right my love. I’m so glad you are home and we get to be a family. I’ve wanted this for forever.” She said. She nuzzled him and finished feeding Isabella before burping her and going to lay her down in the nursery. Emily turned on the monitor and tucked the sleepy baby in.

Jake did virtually nothing the rest of the day. He looked at trip locations and fun things like that. He drove back to the library to pick up his girlfriend. He had just stepped out of the car when his ex came striding over to him.

he waited for her to come out of the nursery waiting on one knee with a ring "We may as well make everything real then" he said

she went through the day rather well-enjoying lunch with co-workers by the time the day was over she packed up her things chatting with co workers a little more.

Emily’s jaw dropped when she walked out her her nursery. She nodded crying tears of joy. “I love you with all my heart and more. I knew you were the one since I met you. It would be an honor to be your wife.” She said walking to him.

Jake rolled his eyes and looked at her. He shook is head and listened to her scream. She was so ridiculous and obnoxious. This of course drove him crazy. So he just stood there listening to her as he waited for his girlfriend.

"I know it's not a romantic proposal but everything is happening in a very strange way," he said bringing her into his arms and hugging her tightly.

she headed out and noticed a girl yelling at Jake tilting her head she walked over "something wrong?" she asked

Emily hugged him back. She blushed a bit. “You really want me to be your wife?” She asked. She was still kinda shocked. Everything was just happening so fast. She leaned up and nuzzled him gently scrunching her nose.

Brittany looked at him and then her. She rolled her eyes and shook her head. “You dumped me for her? Why? Look at her. You both are such trash. “ she yelled. She pushed Jake and sighed. “Why her? Why?” She yelled. “What about us?”

Jake took in a breath and sighed looked at her. “ I’m so sorry you have to see this Jessie.” He said quietly. He turned from his ex and helped Jessie into his car. “Look Brittany I’m not doing this. I’m sorry but I love her so much it would hurt to loose her. So no. Go. Good bye.” He said getting in the car. Jake looked over at her. “I’m sorry baby. I love you.” Said Jake. He looked down. He felt so bad. “Can I make this up to you?”
