Jack heard Lexani behind him. He even sensed her, but didn't care. After sometime he did turn around since the leaves and twigs were starting to give him a headache. "Can you please try not to step on the leaves and twigs? I'm kinda getting a headache." He said and started to walk again. A few minutes later he stopped and climbed up a tree.

Lexani jumped when he suddenly spoke, telling her to try and not step on the leaves and twigs. “S-sorry”, she replied and gave him an innocent smile. He started to climb a tree and she stood, looking upwards to see where he was going. “I know your hiding something”, she called after him, attempting to follow him up the tree

"What makes you say that." He said looking down at her. "You don't have proof." When he got to the very top of the tree he smiled her. Since Jack can kinda float in his human form-at will- it let him get to places that humans typical can't go. Example the very top of a tree.

“Well you were talking fast and you seemed panicked”, she said and paused after. “Then you ran off into the woods as quickly as you could”, she replied with a small laugh. She shifted he weight to one side and smiled up at him. “That enough proof for you?”, she asked with a chuckle.

"Nah. But i have some proof. What I'm doing right now." He chuckled and down to the branch she is at. "Besides if i were hiding something, why would i tell you? I just met you yesterday and I don't know you that well."

“True but I won’t stop bothering you until you tell me what’s wrong”, she said while sitting down on the branch and facing him. “And I’m sure you don’t want to deal with some girl that you just met yesterday bother you and annoy you, right?”, she said with a tilt of her head and a smile.

"Nah." He jumped out of the tree. "Since you'll be bothering me, maybe you can help clean my home." He walked to his house. It's very dark, dusty, and there are a few deep scratch marks in the ground and walls. "First we gotta do the dusting." He sighed.

She followed behind him and ran a hand through her brown hair. “Why would there be deep scratches on your walls?”, she asked while walking beside him.

It was from him and his mother fighting over really stupid things. But Jack just shrugged. "Don't worry about it." He went to go grab the duster. He found two, one for Lexani and one for himself. He went over to Lexani and handed it to her. "Here." There are a few photos of his mother and father. A couple of them had the three of them together. One photo has Jack's demon form, which Jack has completely forgotten about.

Lexani pulled a hair band out of her pocket and she tied her hair up, so that the dust wouldn’t get stuck in her hair. She grabbed the duster from him and started at the shelves, dusting very carefully, making sure not to tip over any pictures. Suddenly she got to the picture of him in his demon form and she looked at it. “What’s this?”, she asked pointing to the picture.
