"When they are kits, like Fawnkit, they have 'kit' in their name, but when they move up and reach six moons, the 'kit' in their name will be replaced with 'paw', to show that they are apprentices, after they complete their training as one, they will become a warrior, or a medicine cat, depending on the choice, and the 'paw' will be replaced with whatever the leader chooses. It shows that they are a warrior. Names are very important in clan, I'm not sure why, but it's one if the ways to show what they are." Pringles explained to the kits to the best of her ability. She hasn't been in the clan long enough to know much about naming ceremonies, but she did know it was something super important. She had the feeling she got something wrong, but as they grow up in this clan, they'll learn.
