The final exile wrote:Venomstar already knew what her clan felt.
Their pelts bristled with tension, and her calm
yet fiery eyes overlooked them. They wanted her
gone. However, she stood tall above her clanmates,
her paws carefully placed upon the highrock in
an event of an attack. A small grin soon formed,
and she lashed her short tail in aggravation. "If you're going to have me exiled,
you might as well do it already." Her harsh tone made it clear
that by exile, she mean't kill- she certainly was not going to
leave after everything she had done. "It seems you have all
fallen in the grips of the dark forest. It's a pity, really."
That caused angry snarls in the clan below her,
their eyes full of fury.
"You are the one who fell into their grip!"
Troutleaf screamed, his eyes filling with tears.
"I always knew you were detached from us.. but.. I never.."
Breezefire quickly comforted him, the pair resembling
a father and daughter relationship. Onyxheart stood
next to her best friend, Pigeonpounce, and the two growled
with apprehension.
Venomstar watched coldly, her claws slowly sliding out of her paws.
As she leaped down from the highrock, she aimed her glare
at Troutleaf and Breezefire.
A quick swipe towards Troutleaf made Breezefire jump to
protect him, Venomstar's claws slicing shallowly
through her flank. Troutleaf screamed as Breezefire tumbled to
the ground. In a fury of claws, the two warriors behind Venomstar
leaped and shoved her down to attempt to pin her. The leader
smiled before raking her hind claws across Pigeonpounce's stomach.
Onyxheart drove her teeth into Venomstar's neck, avoiding her claws.
As the leader began to crumble beneath them, the two warriors
moved away to compose themselves. Pigeonpounce was fine,
as the claws only scratched her, and she looked at Onyxheart with
gratitude.
Venomstar stood, blood staining her fur crimson red. The Riverclan
cats watched as she stumbled out of the camp, hissing.
As Venomstar crossed the Windclan border, a familiar voice rang in her
ears.
"Venomstar!"
The close shout spooked the injured she, and as she turned she felt claws slice
through her throat. The impact made her fall to the ground, and as she
attempted to get back up, paws held her down fiercely.
"You killed my son."
The voice was almost a whisper, but pain and wrath was clear in their tone.
As the beaten leader looked up, she met the gaze of Firefeather.
The tom's eyes held a look the leader had never seen before.
His eyes were the last ones she'd ever see.
You found the murderer Riverclan, congrats!
