Guess who just finished their 2010 advent rat hoard?? I did!!
I was offered to trade for the last remaining 51 rats I needed by a generous user who definitely could’ve asked for more for them, so I got super lucky. <3 I’m so proud of my lil army, all rare and such.

please help me, i just realized i have around 65 active hoards ;n;

how do you guys manage to set an goal for your hoards?
mine are all unlimited it seems, i just can't stop ^^"

I usually set goals that are related to the hoard theme. For example, my hoard "Phidias" is based on the statue of Zeus which stood at 43 feet tall, so I am hoarding 43 of the pet.
More often than not though, if I can't find a theme based number, I hoard 20 or 21 of the pet. 20 for the full page, 21 because I just happen to be fond of the number. c:

i decided on a small one-page hoard of these cuties. they’re just darling. i hope soon i will feel up to seeking them out. currently only have 1/20. but its a start,,

since i cut down on a bunch of hoards and decided to semi-quit chickensmoothie,
it's become so much easier to trade for hoards with all my extra fodder

most prominently, my rudolph hoard has grown the most
as well as these two hoards that are getting closer to completion

still on that hunt for a rudolph horse. i've only been able to find cancelled trades so far, but i'm not giving up until i get one!

y'all are so kind! i now have not only one, but two rudolph horses! i can't even begin to explain how happy i am!
it's a huge accomplishment for me <3

this wasn't intentional at all
this was one of those passive hoards that just snuck its way through most of my trades
I never tried to admit or broadcast it
I just left them on my wishlist hoping I'd end up with at least one of each.....
then I started to have fun with the names and all c:

I was considering making a goal to hit 50 for my Nineteen Knots hoard, started for my nineteenth birthday (wow who'da thunk), except then I remembered I started it when I turned nineteen and I'd need to almost double that number (at the time, 2 weeks) before the 25th when I turn twenty two, THREE YEARS LATER /cough

so I've been doing my other hoards instead. :p
