Everyone is free to give gifts to whoever they like, you don't need to only gift members. People on here do seem to gift members a lot, though. Probably because they're easier to find.
But please don't use this as a place to ask for gifts. This is about giving, not receiving. If you just want free pets there's an entire board here where you can find some.
