Valentina's upbringing was dirt poor. Her mother never seemed to spend money in the right place and hardly bothered to notice her children. With her father a mystery and her mother disappearing for nights on end, Valentina was forced to take care of her three younger siblings, which caused her to mature early in life. Despite the whole situation, she came out of her childhood with a love for kids of all kinds and a passion for helping others. Teaching seemed like a natural fit for someone like her. With a caring and gentle nature, Valentina is never one to raise her voice or start conflict. (In fact, she will do everything to avoid it.) She's extremely docile and quiet, so she comes off as a little socially awkward or introverted at times. Truthfully, she's content with keeping to herself, even if others find it mysterious. Being an idealistic dreamer, she prefers to fantasize and ponder about life instead of talk to others about her feelings or thoughts. Valentina is a bit secretive and gets antsy when she's forced to talk about herself. She lacks a lot of confidence and often talks down on her accomplishments, but she never hesitates to build others up. She's selfless, but her constant self-deprecating attitude can be irritating. Though she's usually pretty calm, extreme stress can cause emotional outbursts. She's a bit of a handful and has been known to throw herself into hysterics when things get tough. Overall, she's got a huge heart, people just need to have the patience to get past her barriers if they want to get to know her.
