If it is your first time posting, you must tell me about your kennel. You can describe things like your kennel's name, nature, reputation, territory and dog's personalities are good. These things help us decide on what your first dog, the alpha will look like! We will quote your post with a picture of your first dog and they will be the dog who is the foundation of your kennel. You can decide on things like the alpha's name, age, gender and even picture if you choose.

Willow’s Edge Kennels
Number of Dogs:1?
Kennel Nature: Willow’s Edge Kennels has a light, almost carefree air to it, with a reputation for not harassing anyone else.
Kennel Territory: Willow’s Edge Kennels is situated on either side of a wide, yet quiet, river, which has a strong current in early spring. It gets cold in the winter, with ice and snow (the river often freezes over, usually from December to March), and moderate summers. A set of shallow caves formed by a dried-up stream along a nearby ravine provide shelter. The forest along the river bank is mixed between deciduous and coniferous, leaning towards pines moreso than deciduous. Common prey is rabbits, birds of all sorts, and fish (seasonally). Snakes are rare. There are no domesticated animals nearby, nor humans.
In the winter, dogs can play on the ice, which is strong enough to support quite a few dogs. In the summer, swimming is possible. Crossing the river without swimming can only be done via an old, partially submerged and abandoned beaver dam which sits to the southern edge of the territory, but the dogs risk cutting their paws on sharp edges of logs from the beavers’ teeth. During spring, the current is too strong for pups to cross safely, but during summer it is calm enough for them to play in. Usually, the pack entirely locates to the side with the caves before spring and returns to the other side after the ice flows and current are no longer as dangerous.
Common breeds: water breeds, double coated retriever crosses, and water-loving winter breeds.
