I was wondering, will you be hiring any 'newbie helpers' (is that what they are called?) soon? I am interested in that, as I don't think you need to be a certain age for that and I love helping newbies! Unless they are very mean. Or very... erm, unintelligent.

I just really want to become an admin or mod, cause i've never been one on a popular, and id work REALLY hard.

9. Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?
I wish to be a roleplay moderator because I don't want younger people to see anything they shouldn't, their parents wouldn't want them to see, what may disturb them, and being bullied and made upset. I also want to make sure that people who don't want to see anything online that they don't want to. Also, It makes me mad when people spam, use explicit content, ignore the rules, and bully others in roleplays.
10. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you run your own roleplay website before, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?)
I have run and helped to run about 4 roleplay sites. I help settle arguments wherever I go, whether it be online, in person, over the phone, or through text.

I used to be a counselor at a camp and I think those skills will translate well into this position : ) I love RP's and I sometimes skim through them and read several different ones, just in one day. We have some very talented individuals here at CS.

Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS? Because i love to roleplay and have been roleplaying for almost ten years now. Knowing and following the rules is simple to me.
Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position (this is not required) (for example have you run your own roleplay website before, or have you had any experience in peer mediation?) KNowing how to interact with multiple people at once and knowing how to help those who are lost in a roleplay find where they belong. I once was part of a friend's roleplay forum.

7. Have you participated in many roleplays outside of CS before?: I have joined quite a few roleplays in the past, and I feel that there are too many to link. ^^ I have posted a link to a roleplay in which I have shown my best roleplaying skills in #10, though.

8. Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before?: I only participate in the animal-based roleplays, as I find it tough to find a human/shapeshifter/etc. roleplay to my tastes on CS. It's nothing personal; I simply prefer roleplaying on actual websites and find humanoid RP hard in such a tiny forum. I actually do own a Warriors roleplay, but I haven't updated it in a while and it hasn't been posted on in some time.

9. Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS?: Roleplaying is one of my favourite hobbies to participate in. I have been roleplaying for a good two years now, and my posts can reach up to 1,000 words. I would be interested in sharing my time, knowledge, and experience with ChickenSmoothie. I am friendly and have a good temper; I don't mind dealing with rule-breakers, and I can learn what types of punishments to hand out easily. I am perfectly fine with reading content that is above our standards, and I have made an excellent Moderator for other websites in the past. I am highly knowledgeable about roleplay, and I am also quite knowledgeable about which pictures can be used and cannot be used; I'm fine with moderating stolen pictures. Though I haven't done as much roleplaying on CS lately as I would like to, I have good qualities that would make me able to take on this job.

As well as having decent roleplaying skills and having knowledge of the roleplaying rules, I am good at cooperating with other staff members and I enjoy working with them. I enjoy helping out, whether it sounds cheesy or not; it's something that I enjoy doing. I am good at settling arguments, and I am fine with handing out warnings. I feel that these qualities would make me a successful Roleplay Moderator.

10. Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position?: I own my own Warriors roleplaying website (http://deprivedrpg.proboards.com/index.cgi). Unfortunately, it didn't turn out as I had expected (for instance, we waned to set in a 200 minimum word count and we have members posting one-liners) and I will more than likely be closing down the website soon.

If you are interested in taking a look at my roleplaying skills, I have joined another Warriors RP site called Blessed (http://blessings.proboards.com/index.cgi). I am Silverstar on there, and I am in charge of the Advertising area as well as updating the headers and footers (basically, I have the powers of a Moderator). My best post contains over 1,000 words and I have developed my cat's biography quite nicely, so if this is a skill that you would be interested in having on your team, there you go! :3

I'm not currently involved in any RPs and several of the organizations I used to be involved in have died off. I keep a window up with the "My Posts" so that I can check up and maintain my guide threads in the RP section as well as other threads I have posted in.

I was very active in the old Nutrinopets (the site went away) and have just started getting involved in the new Nutrinopets RP section Click for New NuP. I have my own RP site that is mainly for my real life friends and sometimes for people I RP with a lot online. Click for my site. Note: The RP on NuP might not be appropriate for all users (technically it hasn't started yet, but I have this feeling it will be more then PG-13 on the gore.) however everything on my personal site is PG.
Have you participated in many roleplays on CS before? Only a couple and it was a while ago. I usually prefer slightly longer posts and slower moving RP's so that I have time to really think about my post.
Why do you want to be a roleplay moderator for CS? I want to be an RP moderator for CS because I think that I would do a good job. I'm generally good about being fair and I am not afraid to ask if I really don't know how to solve an issue and I'm not afraid of people being mad at me for insisting they follow the rules. I have a good knowledge of RPing of various levels and can dedicate time to the site. (Note: there are some times I would not be able to be on much, holidays when I'm with family and Finals week come to mind).
[b]Can you think of any particular skills you can bring to the position:[/g] I wrote the guides that are stickied at the top of the RPing thread (though I should probably do an updated one with a better layout) and have been answering questions regarding RPing there for a while. I don't consider my RP site to be "my own" because it's only for friends and family who don't cause problems. I've tried to be helpful on the various RP guides, but I've only been asked to mediate once or twice. Usually I gave suggestions and told them that if it didn't work to talk to a moderator though.

I just wanted to say, I think the age of 15+ would be quite sufficient, Especially since even with movie classifications Strong content is rated MA15+, Because generally once you have reached the age of 15 you are very much grown up, and in most cases have already been introduced to inappropriate content through TV and Movies, Along with the internet.

I think this is a wonderful Idea since I have been pinning for the site to get a position such as this, Since the rules on the Roleplay boards are very badly watched in my opinion, especially art theft and such. It is a rather shame that the year level is one year to high, because I would have made a very suitable team member considering this is my 3rd year here, and I have made 10977 approx. RP posts since it is the only board I really follow and since I have grown with the website.

Good luck Tess with picking the next generation of RP Mods, I hope they are successful in doing their job to a high standard, and if they do not maybe next year the position will be open and I can have my shot then.

Because I love roleplaying, and I want it to be OK for younger members that lvoe it too. I also want to make CS a better place because I know this site has a lot of members of all ages. Roleplaying should be a fun activty, not one that scars you for life or makes you want to puke. So I want to make the roleplaying on this site a better place where people of all ages can enjoy it.

So I was wondering. What if, say, a fifteen year old who is very close to being sixteen got a parents permission?
