Ashstar's gaze drifted upwards towards the sky. He observed the stars beginning to twinkle as the sky grew darker. Looking back at Dapplednose he sighed. "I think I know what I'll do." He meowed. "I'm going to go ahead and give her, her warrior name." The tom frowned. "However." His voice was stern as he spoke. "I will not be afraid to demote her back to being an apprentice if she continues to act like a disobedient kit." Truthfully, the leader didn't know if he was actually able to do that, but didn't see where it would be an issue. That would be more of a punishment than holding off her warrior ceremony any longer. Clearing his throat, he mewed, "It's getting late. I should go ahead and get this ceremony started."

Rising to his paws, the gray and white tom padded up to the high rock. This is where he typically did his more important meetings and ceremonies. Standing tall, the tom overlooked the clan clearing. Some of the clan seemed to be absent, but he didn't worry much about it. As he usually begins, the tom yowled out, wanting to grab the attention of all those nearby. "Cats of Emberclan, gather around the high rock so that we may prepare for an important ceremony."

A yawn escaped out of Mouseberry's mouth. Her gaze shifted upwards. The trio had been out all day and it was now growing dark. "Hey, you guys." The she-cat took a couple steps towards the training duo. "I think we should start heading back now." A grin rested on her muzzle. "I'm sure the two of you are just as hungry as I am." Turning around, she began to head back to camp. If the two were ready to head back to camp then they could follow after her. She padded into camp just as Ashstar was giving his

Nightpaw nodded in agreement. "It is a sad thought at times." He couldn't help but chuckle. "As long as we've all lived in the same clan in the same den, we don't even take the time to try and get to know each other better." The tom's tail twitched. "Though, honestly I was a little scared to try and be friends with anyone else." He looked down at the ground for a moment. At Badgerpaw's suggestion, his eyes widened. "Yeah! That'd be a lot of fun." His head nodded once again. As he glanced around the clearing in search of his mentor, he noticed Ashstar climbing up the high rock. "Oh?" The tom's eyes landed on his leader as he yowled out, signaling a meeting. "I wonder what this is about?"

Falconblaze watched as Ashpaw began to make her way over to the tree log. His head tilted as he observed the hint of fear on her face. His eyes fixed on the apprentice, wanting to make sure he took note of her every move. The more he paid attention, the more he would know and understand how to train his apprentice. The tom nodded in approval as he watched the apprentice walk across the log. He caught her almost trip at the end, his eyes widened as he watched how she would react. Padding over to the apprentice he grinned. "Very good, Ashpaw." He cuffed his paw playfully around the she-cats ear. "You were able to fix your mistake at the end, and that was good." His eyes shifted around the territory as he picked out the next assignment. "Okay." The large tom padded over towards the center of the clearing. "We'll continue working on your agility and call it a day." He motioned for the apprentice to come closer. "I want you to start here and run and jump over the log. Touch the other tree that's standing a little way in front of it, then return to me. Do this three times." He knew this would probably cause the she-cat to be sore in the morning, but he wanted to see how fast she could move and react.

Speckledust watched as Riverstone emerged from the den. His face lit up. "Hey, Riverstone." The tom smiled warmly. "I haven't seen you much today. Where have you been?" He had woken up late and when he did finally arise, the she-cat was already gone from the den. Since then he hadn't caught sight of her. Though, he had been fairly busy trying to help with Ryebreeze and Cherryblossom's situation. It wasn't long before Ivyflight spoke up. "Oh, okay." A hint of sadness could be detected in his voice. Just when he was trying to speak to his mate. "I don't mind tagging along." He nodded. Glancing over at Riverstone, he added, "We'll take later then I guess?"

Ryebreeze shifted his paws across the ground awkwardly. "You have no need to apologize." He grinned. "I don't want to get in the way of you doing the things you want to do. Nor do I want to be in the way of you being happy." His tail twitched anxiously. "Yeah... I would like that." The tom felt a little better at the she-cats purr. "We should probably get back to camp so that no one starts to worry." Not wanting the journey back to be awkward, he decided to attempt to start a conversation. "S-so... Do you think or hope you'll be given one of Birchsong's kits as an apprentice when they get old enough?"

Honeykit watched as Sagekit begged to go outside. Secretly, she wanted to go out as well. The small white and orange kitten stumbled over to her sister. "I want to go too, mama." She asked, a little calmer than her sisters plea. Her small fluffy orange tail brushed around the earth.

Ashpaw let out a sigh of relief realizing that she was in one picece and didn't hurt any part of her body. Ashpaw jerked up when Faclonblaze came over to comment on her task that she had complete. She was worried if he would yell at her, but looking at the expression on his face along with his grin at through her off a little. Ashpaw felt a rush pride when Faclonblaze made his comment on how she did, despite that Ashpaw thought she did horrible in her opinion. "T-hank you.." Ashpaw meowed sheepishly. The gray she cat listened and tilted her head to the side looking a bit puzzled when he began to explain the next assignment. It didn't seem too hard at all, yet she was put to the change. Nodding her with a quick "Okay." as she go into position where her mentor was and crouched down as her heart beat picking up rapidly due to her being slightly anxious. Ashpaw darted forward a blast of wind hitting her face as she came closer to the Log, she prepared herself to get ready to jump as she inched closer. Jumping over the Log Ashpaw then went towards the tree that Faclonblaze pointed at next.

Duskpaw flicked his tail back and forth a few times, frowning,
"Well that's the saddest thing I've ever heard. Oh my stars, I mean.."
He trailed off, chuckling awkwardly, trying to make a joke about it but failing miserably. He really didn't know how to respond to that.

Reedfeather frowned to himself as he padded back into the camp. Sighing, he went and sat by the warriors den, not really knowing what to do now. He just sat, and watched the camp entrance for any sign of Ryebreeze needing help.

Brokenwing shook her head slightly, "I actually grew up here, but I wasn't born here," she meowed. When Riverstone put some fresh moss in her nest, Brokenwing smiled gratefully, “Thank you Riverstone.” She looked over at the high rock when Ashstar called a meeting. She smiled, “Guess we should move over there.” Wincing slightly she stood up, her leg stiff from sitting, and slowly limped closer to the high rock.

As he neared the nursery, Ambergaze could already hear Honeykit and Sagekit trying to convince Birchsong to let them go outside. He smiled and ducked his head inside, his amber eyes full of amusement and fondness. “Hey you two. Bored with the nursery again?” he meowed good-naturedly, walking into the den and sitting down.

Badgerpaw smiled, “Alright then, we can talk to our mentors as soon as-“ he was cut off by Ashstar’s yowl, calling them all for some sort of ceremony. “I have no clue, but maybe Cinderpaw will finally get her warrior name.” He replied to Nightpaw before standing up. “Come on!” The black-and-white apprentice trotted over to the high rock and claimed a spot near the front of the crowd so that he would have a good view, leaving space for Nightpaw and Stormypaw.

Ashstar's eyes searched the crowd of cats. His gaze landed on Cinderpaw. "Cinderpaw, please come forward." The tom took a couple of moments to wait for the she-cat to come. "I, Ashstar, leader of Emberclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. Cinderpaw has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn." His head in Cinderpaw's direction. "Cinderpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" His expression turned serious as he waited for a response. "Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Cinderpaw, from this moment you will be known as Cinderheart. Starclan honors your dedication and spirit, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Emberclan." Ashstar padded closer to the she-cat, resting his muzzle on Cinderheart's head. After a few moments had passed, he turned back to face the clan. "Since there are no available toms for Cinderheart, her assigned mate ceremony will be put on hold."

Dipping his head at the clan, he yowled out, "This ceremony is over. Cinderheart will sit a silent vigil guarding the clan tonight while we sleep." He flicked his tail as he padded down from the high rock.

Mouseberry padded into camp. She was a little shocked to see the rest of the clan gathered at the high rock. She hoped she hadn't missed too much of the ceremony yet. Padding over towards the back of the crowd, she took a seat. Her eyes continuously glanced over at the camp entrance, waiting for Cloudstep to enter in. What could be taking him so long?

Nightpaw nodded. It would be about time for the apprentice to get her warrior name. She was almost 17 moons old. Why did it take her so long? Fear started to rise in the tom. He hoped it wouldn't take him that long to become a warrior. He would soon be 13 moons old. Did Sootnose think he was almost ready to become a warrior? Following after Badgerpaw, the solid black tom glanced behind him to see if Stormypaw was coming too. He sat down the other apprentice and looked up towards the high rock, listening as the ceremony began.

Falconblaze watched as Ashpaw took off. He was impressed with her speed. Hunting rabbits would probably be her specialty. His eyes were fixed on the apprentice as she jumped over the log with ease. He glanced up towards the sky,
taking note of how dark it was becoming. He began to trot back towards the center of the clearing once again. "Okay, Ashpaw. Let's head back. Your agility skills are wonderful. Tomorrow we'll see how well you can climb a tree." Though, in all honesty, he had no desire to head back to camp yet. How would he be able to face Cherryblossom and the others.

Speckledust watched as Riverstone emerged from the den. His face lit up. "Hey, Riverstone." The tom smiled warmly. "I haven't seen you much today. Where have you been?" "Yeah, you're right." The tom looked around, curious as to if he should sit with his mate or his brothers. I've got to make Speckledust happy... Following after Cherryblossom, he sat beside the she-cat and watched as the ceremony took place.

Honeykit's head turned at the sound of someone entering the den. A smile grew on her muzzle at the sight of her father. The small kit turned around and wobbled over to Ambergaze. "Please, papa! I want to go see the ceremony!" Her blue eyes grew large as she begged.
