The Quality Base Project, or, in shorthand, QB Project, is an ongoing project by reygan-kiwi founded with the intent to create quality bases for the users of ChickenSmoothie. These bases are designed to be clean, simple, and easy to use, with an emphasis on ease-of-use and multi-edit quality; that is to say, a base that can be edited/used multiple times and still look lovely.

The Quality Base Project's main intent is to provide quality bases to the mass public of Chickensmoothie in order to encourage character creation, adoption, and adoration with less of a focus on closed / original species.

This base features a very simple and intuitive workspace; all layers are ready for Alpha Lock, all layers are named, and it is very supportive of custom edits. It features three pre-drawn tails, a pre-drawn hair layer, and ref sheet layers for your usage.

This base would be perfect for any of your canine-esque design needs; with edits and a bit of work, it can suit most any type of canine-based character one would desire.

This base must follow the rules of the QBP's usage guidelines.

QBP Project Rules

The Quality Base Project emphasizes the availability of it's products to the everyday user; that being said, the QBP does not prohibit users from selling what they design on the base to other players. It does, however, have a few stipulations.

Sale of Adopts: Currencies

You may sell your adoptables for Chickensmoothie Pets or C$.
You may trade your adoptables for existing adoptables or custom creation services.
You may trade your adoptables for other adoptables on the site that may be of an open or closed species status, so long as it adheres to the rules of the species in question.
You may gift your adoptables to other people.
There is no price cap on what you can sell adoptables for on this base.

You may not sell your adoptables for ANY OTHER CURRENCY without a 'permit' purchased from reygan-kiwi.
These currencies include USD (or other real-life currencies), DA Points, or any other currency that allows you to gain real life money from it.

Sale of Adopts: Species

You may not use this base to recreate artwork of an existing species; this base is intended to be used for character creation and non-species character reference-basing only.
You may not create your own 'closed species' on this base.
You may not create your own 'original species' on this base.

Other Stipulations

You may advertise custom character designs on this base.
You may advertise character 'breedings' on this base as long as it's okay with the parent's designers.
You may advertise 'reference' commissions on this base as long as it's not an original species.
You may not, under any circumstance, post this anywhere without the signature VISIBLE on the sheet. If you use a white BG change the signature to 'normal' instead of Overlay. There is no excuse; you get ONE warning and then a permanent ban.
