their favorite thing about summer; Diego's favorite thing about summer is lighting up a bonfire out in the woods with his friends. He loves nothing more than tossing back a cold one with the boy and admiring the warm night sky. He also likes to watch the fireflies and the other animals of the night come out. It's not much to him but during the rest of the year he's at college as are the rest of his friends so he never gets to chill and see them until the summer time. That's why Diego enjoys the summertime and the bonfires the most.

Dawn loves to watch the sunset as she sits on roof of her house. There's a ledge there, with a railing so she can't fall, and she'll sit there for hours, enamoured by the changing hues of the summer sun and sky. Every day that the sun is out, she'll stay on the roof for hours.

Alternately, Dawn loves to read aloud with her pet bunny curled up in her lap, her audience; the forest animals that wander through her back yard. They often ignore her, though some will come to lay by her and listen, especially the young fawn who often wanders near her house. The three of them - Dawn, the fawn, and her bunny - would stay there for hours, content to lay in the summer sun together.
