Liam sighed as he walked down the sidewalk, slipping in and out of the people who ushered around him. In his hands were his groceries, a collection of random ingredients for a recipe he would be preparing later. He would be patrolling later in the day, knowing that crime never truly slept. He was sure somewhere in the city there was crime happening, but he couldn't be in every place at once, and he was sure other heroes could handle it. He had only met a few other heroes before - Stark had come to him, offering a place with the Avengers, but he politely declined. He had no aspiration to join a team, he was better off alone. He had also met with the Spider on a few occasions. The man was odd to say the least, but quite amusing.
He grunted as he was run into, tilting his head as he felt his wallet leave his pocket and a young thief running away from him. "Mih fo tnorf ni raeppa em tel," he spoke, eyes glowing orange as he appeared in front of the thief, who collided into him. He tsked lightly, kneeling to grab his dropped wallet. "Please refrain from stealing in the future young man," he spoke simply, before turning to continue to his apartment. He stopped when he heard screaming, turning to see a large apartment building on fire. He blinked, sighing before his eyes went orange again.
"No mrofinu ym tup dna yawa seirecorg eht tup," he spoke, the bag of groceries disappearing from his hands as his clothes morphed into his uniform. He headed for the fire, scanning the outside of the building as he did.

Thor was happy to be back on Earth - it meant everything in Asgard was in order. Loki was currently serving time in the prison, though he would be out soon if his brother didn't try any of his old tricks. Hopefully he wouldn't, but knowing Loki, it was bound to happen. With Asgard safe for the moment, it meant he could enjoy time on Midgard dealing with its crimes! They were so petty yet there were so many - meaning he was never too bored when he was in New York. Not to mention he enjoyed seeing the criminals go to jail after a failed crime. Swinging his hammer, he launched himself into the air. He was sure if he went down a few streets he'd find something to occupy himself with.
Scanning the streets and alleyways, his eyebrow rose when he noticed two figures in an alleyway. Smirking, he landed at the street end, noticing the cloaked woman holding the man's arm. Living in Asgard and growing up with Sif - and knowing Natasha - meant Thor never underestimated who he went up against. Even those who seemed physically smaller than him. "What is going on here?" he asked in a booming voice.
