Silverstar looked down affectionately at the two young kits. She looked up at their father. “ This one will be named Darkkit, should we name this one Smokekit? “ Silverstar wrapped her tail around the new arrivals. They were so adorable.

Thornkit wriggled around in his temporary nest. Every cat in the nursery had to spend the time Silverstar kitted in the elder’s den. Sure, the nest were uncomfortable, but they weren’t big and cozy like the ones in the nursery.

Dapplepool could finally rest easy. Tigerpaw had finished his first kitting - sure, it was tough for such a small She cat to birth kits, but they all thankfully survived. Dapplepool laid her head down on her paws.

"May I come in?" Treepaw asked peeking into the nusery. She looked over at the new-borns. "Oh Silverstar! Those furry little bundles of yours are adorable!" She steppted in and sat down infront of the new kits. "Hello there little ones, I'm Treepaw. Your so lucky to have a mother like Silverstar!" She whispered to the new arrivals.

The little kit felt her brother beside her, who's that? She moved around a little. She rolled onto her back she heard Treepaw talking, hmm I wonder who THAT is? The kit slowly got up her eyes shut, but then she fell back down. She followed the scent of Nightscar and slowly shuffled towards him.

She quickly pinned the She-kit’s tail to the ground, so she couldn’t escape. “ Where do you think you’re going? “ she said, with amusement drenching the sentence. She looked up at Treepaw. “ Yes, StreamClan is very lucky to have young ones like these - the nursery used to be so empty! “ Silverstar felt proud to show the kits off. She couldn’t wait until Dovetail met them.

He then looked up at where he thought the nice she-cat was. “ Silverstar? Is that momma’s name? Wait - what is your name? What’s dad’s name? “ he asked, and tipped his head to one side.

The kit bit her mother's paw and broke free, showing that she is a born warrior. She kept shuffling over to Nightscar, when she reached him she buried her muzzle into his soft fur. She wasn't talking yet though.

Silverstar winced at the tiny kit biting her paw, But was proud she was brave enough to do so. She picked Darkkit up by her scruff, and placed her beside her brother. “ It is not time to play with your father now. He is only here to cuddle. ” she laughed. Darkkit was adorable - and Smokekit was the spitting image of Nightscar. They were so cute, she was proud.

I’m going to open my eyes, and see! “ he excitedly stretched his Blue-Green eyes open, to see his sister, who was a Dark she-cat, his mother, her fur was so soft, and silver! It reminded him of his nest. Then, his father. His father’s fur was black, his eye was scarred shut, and his remaining eye was Green. Maybe it looked scary - but his dad was so cool! Smokekit wanted to be just like him someday!
