Ashpaw looked a bit taken back from Spiritpaw's response to her question, her fur burned with embrassment as she laughed sheepishly. Of course she didn't take those comments to heart, She wasn't cool or interesting. She forced a small smile but frowned moments later, "You're really nice Spiritpaw but r-really. I am none of those.." Ashpaw tried to tell the tom narrowing her somewhere else to avert her attention. Clearly she wasn't the best with complements yet. It was daily that Ashpaw would think less of herself on a daily basis, what he said was really heart-warming but she didn't feel right being called those things. SpiritPaw frowned, he didn't want her to think so little of herself "b-but it is true!" He protested quietly. He was about to go on when TwilightFur nudged him. He let out a soft yelp of surprise before scrambling to his paws "W-what I-is it, TwilightFur?" He mewed. Gazing wide-eyed at the she-cat. He let out another yelp, this one a little louder, when FoxClaw came storming up to them. He looked down at the tom's unsheathed claws and took a step backwards, his ears flattening against his cranium. He looked up at the two adults, looking completely bewildered.

Riverbriar grinned "Alright, let's get going then." she said flicking her tail for both of them to follow. As she headed out she began to speak "Lightpaw and I want another opinion, a second set of eyes." she said. "I figured someone else could give him another perspective. He's doing great in his training! But I want to make sure he's not limited to just what I know. We're going to do some battle practicing." she explained. Glancing back at Lightpaw she nodded to him "You ready?" she asked.

Riverbriar shrugged "Eh.. to be honest i'm not sure. There's no one in particular i'm crushing on a lot.. It's not like I just didn't end up getting who I really wanted. I want a happy life it's just.. unfortunate the pairs we were placed into. I want the same for Falconblaze. I want him to be able to be happy and have a good life just like me." she explained. Her mismatched eyes glanced towards the direction they'd come even though she couldn't see the camp or anyone in it from where they were.

Sootnose nodded, lowering her head to take a bite of the prey. She glanced up at Silverstorm before her gaze flickered to Foxclaw. "It's alright Silverstorm, I probably just overreacted I do that sometimes." she said. She lifted her head up more giving Foxclaw a questioning look, he seemed to be in a mood. But before she could say anything else it seemed like chaos seemed to break out in camp. She pinned her ears, watching as Twlightfur started to call for Ashstar and then for Spiritpaw and then as Foxclaw snapped at her. She stood up slowly, glancing between the apprentices who'd been chatting and Foxclaw and Twilightfur. "Um.." she started before she narrowed her eyes "Twilightfur he's doing nothing of the sort but you are scaring the apprentices by yowling for Ashstar! Like Foxclaw said, he's busy!" she snapped quickly coming to the defense of Foxclaw, someone she knew from the group of Cinderpaw's. They should stick together right? Despite that she was just worried about the apprentices.. She didn't want them getting involved in anything that was going on.

Rainypaw felt her ears grow hot and she glanced away. She hadn't realized she'd been that obvious, how embarrassing. She stuck close to Sunfeather, her curiosity getting the better of her again and all worries and embarrassment seemed to melt away into the back of her mind. "I've never seen a kittypet before. My father said they're all fat. Do you think they all are?" she asked glancing up at the older medicine cat excitedly. Her father had described them as all very fat and some being very grouchy and others being very lazy. Though she suspected that wasn't necessarily true for all of them.. She wasn't really sure if she was just being hopeful or naive. After all her father was a warrior surely he knew better..?

Not because they were kittypets, but because they had luxuries and shoved it down clancat throats whenever they were in twolegplace. When he was younger, Sunfeather would visit the twolegplace a lot. He'd always run into kittypets, and they were very annoying. All they wanted to do was invite him into their homes and talk about friendhip and stuff. Gosh, how he hated it so!
After scenting the air once more, he headed in the direction of a short, brown fence. This one would be perfect to scale!

Darkpaw tilted his head. He scented other cats now. Prey and Ashes... Foxclaw and Twilightfur? The air suddently felt tense, and he took a step back. What was going on? Was a fight about to break out?
Foxclaw and Twilightfur were snarling at each other. He figured the two cats had their claws out. Would there be a fight? Would he be caught in the middle of it all because he wanted friends?
"Wh-what's going on?" He asked, hoping Ashpaw or Spiritpaw would respond.

The moment Ashpaw opened her mouth to say something back to stop Spiritpaw from protesting, but a black and white she cat with green eyes called him over. Ashpaw blinked a couple of times looking confused of what the she cat had wanted. Moments later a larger tom came storming over yelling at the she cat causing her to perk up and back away slowly not wanting to take part of whatever this was. Ashpaw was bit unsure what to do, 'Should I tell them to stop..?' Ashpaw quickly turned down that suggestion and nervously watched what would happen after the she cat threaten the larger tom named Foxclaw. "I..have n-no clue.." Ashpaw stuttered looking afriad

Dappledheart nuzzled Ashstar gently. "We'll make it through this," she promised before taking a small bite of the squirrel. The squirrel tasted flavorless and stale in her mouth as her fears sank deeper. "But we have to stay strong. The clan will only make it if their leader is there to guide them," she meowed gently. She paused for a moment to take another bite. She let the silence fall for a few seconds before continuing. "If you need to talk about something, I'm here for you," she offered, hoping he would confide in her if he needed to.

Dappledheart glanced up as Cinderpaw padded over to them. The deputy's cold stare softened a bit when the apprentice offered Ashstar the feathers. Maybe she's just strong-willed. Just because she ditched one patrol, doesn't mean she is openly defiant, she told herself. Still, I'd like to keep an eye on her, she decided. Dappledheart glanced up and saw Hawkbreeze pad over to Ashstar's den, looking irritated. "Ashstar is over here," she called, raising her voice but keeping it calm.

Foxclaw just walked up to him and she's threatening him? she thought anxiously. A hollow feeling of dread shot through her. We already have rouges attacking us, we don't need quarrels among our clanmates as well! What if a fight breaks out? she worried.
