Lol, I've done that a lot of times on the Neopets boards because they just moved so fast and the topics tended to be buried overnight ._.

Lol, I'm refraining from joining the wolf one since the owner seems to be offline and the rp's moving fast enough that my form would be buried underneath one-liners. x-x I'll see if I can catch the owner online first, then make a form.

Purple prose = unnecessarily decorated text, in the literary sense. For example:
"The shimmering, beige, near-iridescent sequin-filled skirt swayed slightly on her slender, pristine, pale, clean, legs. The beautiful multicolored dawn sky, which held many billowing, lazy, ivory clouds, was so breathtaking that she looked up to watch it, her deep, dark, green, glittering eyes shining with pure awe."

I probably do that when I feel like I need to fill in space XD I don't notice it at all... what I do notice is people using the same adjective over and over again. Like... Beautiful. Her beautiful hair, eyes, body, cat, what have you. Over and over again. Or when people keep using 'big blue eyes' over and over again. Its okay once... But most people can't pull it off without looking like they're coming onto your character.

Yeah, I guess finding an RP who's owner is online is a better idea. Back to the drawing board!

Lol, I used to use purple prose thinking that it would make my writing better -- yeeaaah, not. e_e If it's used too much, it'll actually make a rp post completely boring to read, since all you're really doing is describing every minuscule detail of the setting. And it becomes redundant after awhile, lol.

Ahaha, beautiful. xD That's one word I dislike using when describing my own characters, simply because it seems rather Sue-ish (or snobby).
