SpiritPaw's eyebrows furrowed with worry. "Rogues?" He thought, concern evident in his lime-green eyes as he looked towards the camp entrance, half expecting the rogues to just burst out of the trees and attack them. "Like that would happen. The Warriors would protect us, even if the rogues did come." He tried reassuring himself, but it didn't really help. SpiritPaw decided to focuse his attention on something else. He sighed, glancing over to AshPaw. He felt a little awkward. He wanted to make friends but he was so scared that the other apprentice's his age would think he was a loser, not to mention wimpy. Growing up with his parents in an empty forest with barely any other cats, SpiritPaw had never made any friends, he wasn't even sure how to make one "I guess I'll never know unless I try." SpiritPaw padded over to AshPaw, sitting a hare-leap away from her and giving a shy, awkward smile. "H-hello, A-AshPaw!" SpiritPaw stuttered. He could feel the tips of his ears warming up with embarrassment.

(I'm on mobile this sucks, sorry.)

SeaWing's pelt bristled at the mention of rogues. His tail lashed the terrain beneath him. SeaWing sighed quietly, looking down at his paws. He was glad they had such a capable leader and Deputy. He would never be able to do what AshStar and DappledNose did on a daily basis. Maybe he should start training MothPaw, His bright blue eyes scanned the clearing for his apprentice. He spotted DuskPaw by CinderPaw and PebblePaw, but no signs of MothPaw, so maybe she was out with another apprentice and their mentor. He saw AshStar heading towards the prey pile and was about to approach him when he spotted DappledNose. He wanted to ask if they needed him for any patrols, but they needed, and deserved, some time with each other. He'd let them relax for a bit before disturbing them. SeaWing settled down on a soft patch of grass and watched a small ant crawl by.

The she cat flattens her ears when Duskpaw walked off, still feeling guilty for his parents' loss and often feels uncomfortable around him. She sighs and walks across the clearing to join her mate. She sits next to him.

He looks down at his paws

"That'd be great! No one ever asked me that." he said looking at his paws again. His face turned a bit red at that comment.

When Ashstar mentioned something about Rogues she began to wonder, her blue eyes going deep into her thoughts. Surely a Rouges would become overwhelmed with the amount of warriors Emberclan had right? It made the young feline skittish and nervous of her surroundings now, what if they attacked now? Maybe when they were sleeping? Where they harmless? Unanswered Questions began to swim around in her mind as she zoned out a title. A wave of stress and anxiety hit Ashpaw. She was use to overwhelming herself to the point of her panicking about the smallest things. Ashpaw heard a voice and jumped up in surprise as she was broken out of her thoughts, she stared clueless at the tom. Giving him a long look that more or less said "Who are you? How do you know my name and why do you want to hang out with me?" type of look. Ashpaw shook her head lightly and felt a bit embarrassed that she was staring at him for a long period of time without saying anything, did she look awkward? Ashpaw opened her mouth but nothing came out, great now she was making a fool out of herself. Finally she forced herself to say something, but it wasn't much. Only a simple "Hello."

Ashstar took a couple steps back before turning to face Dapplednose. A small rumble in his belly signaled how hungry he was becoming. "Dapplednose, I'm going to grab a piece of prey." He grinned. "Would you like to sit and share with me?" Since they couldn't spend alone time together maybe they could at least share prey. It wouldn't be long before another patrol would need to be sent out. He wanted to relax while he had the chance.

Mouseberry - watching Cloudstep/Flamingpaw's training.

Nightpaw eyed the younger apprentice for a couple of moments. His attention returned to Stormypaw as he nodded his head. "I suppose you're right." Something about the she-cat mesmerized him, but he wasn't sure of what it was. He watched as Spiritpaw began to speak to her. An awkward smile could be seen on the Spiritpaw's muzzle. "Hmm.." He murmured. "Seems as though Spiritpaw has worked up the courage to say something to her." His tail flicked in an irritated manner as he eyed the two apprentices.

Falconblaze chortled. He felt so free. Things almost seemed as good as they did before the death of Sparrowpaw.
That is until a hiss from behind him rang through his ears. His ears flattened as he slowly turned his head to see Fawnwillow. Every muscle in his body tensed. A frown formed on his face at the she-cats murmur. What did she have to be sorry about? He waded over to a shallow part of the water and stepped back onto the dry land, keeping his distance from the sisters. Fear gripped his heart. What was Fawnwillow going to do? He watched painfully as the two left him. Anger began to rage inside of him. This was why he was fearful to get close to anyone ever again. It wasn't fair! Everyone he got close to was ripped away from him. First his sister, now Cherryblossom? No. He wouldn't allow it. This time he was going to do something. Blinded by rage, the tom began to march back to camp.

Speckledust frowned. His eyes narrowed as he glared at Ryebreeze. "That's no way to keep your mate." The tom huffed. He looked up at Reedfeather, watching as he approached. "Ryebreeze's mate has run off with another tom." Anger raged in his eyes. He didn't any she-cat to hurt or betray his brothers. Especially not if he could help it. He shook his head. "No injuries though, don't worry." His ears pricked at the sound of Reedfeather's voice. He could tell the she-cat was just as angry about the two running off together.

Ryebreeze kept his eyes fixed on the ground. He was too embarrassed to look up. "Please don't get overworked, Speckledust!" The tom sighed. "I promise. It's not a big deal!" His tail wrapped neatly around his paws. "There's no need for Cherryblossom to be miserable. Let her be happy." He looked up, glancing between Reedfeather and Speckledust. "Please." The tom begged. He didn't like being in this situation. He would much rather prefer to be cracking jokes with his brothers instead of talking about his relationship issues. "In all honesty... I don't even really have feelings for her."

He winced when he saw that he had startled her out of her thoughts. "S-sorry.. Uh..." He wanted to give into the urge to just run off and hide by MouseBerry. But his Parents, when they were still alive, had always told him to be more confident. They probably didn't realize how hard that was for him. "Uh..." He couldn't find anything to say. "I sound like such a Mousebrain.." He grumbled to himself, wishing he wasn't this awkward. He glanced over to StormyPaw and NightPaw briefly. "I'm pawspirit, Er, I mean.. I'm SpiritPaw.."

Duskpaw huffed softly, his tail flicking back and forth in annoyance,
"All cats besides the ones in our group are mouse-brains.."
He muttered, looking at Cinderpaw as he sat down. He looked at Pebblepaw as she came over,
"My day?" He asked, frowning some more at the small she-cat, "Why do you want to know that?"

Heathersmoke padded through the trees, staying close enough to hear Cloudypaw or Oakpaw if one of them called, but too far away to be seen. She lowered herself to the ground, letting her bright blue eyes scan the clearing. She let her claws slide eagerly into the Earth as she spotted a squirrel up ahead. She stalked forward steadily, letting her tail sway softly behind her without realizing it. As she got ready to leap, the squirrel spotted her and darted away from her instantly. Heathersmoke let out a snort of frustration before giving chase. She chased the squirrel down the hill before it jumped up into a tree and scurried up into the branches. Heathersmoke skidded to a halt and stared up the tree, her paws beginning to feel like stone. There will be other prey, she told herself silently as she padded back up the hill.

The deputy glanced at Ashstar before dipping her head. "That would be nice, thank you," she meowed as she settled beside her mate. She fluffed out her fur before giving it a couple of licks. Let's see, who should be sent on the next patrol? Many cats aren't even in camp. Maybe we should be a bit more organized about that. Warriors can do what they want, but I need cats here for patrols, her mind wandered as she planned out what their next move would be. I'll need to send cats back to the border that the rouges crossed. Maybe I'll have the dusk patrol search the area again, and I'll send a hunting patrol in the same direction. If the hunting patrol is nearby, the dusk patrol will have backup if they get into a fight, she decided before glancing at the prey pile. Her stomach let out a little growl to tell her she was hungry. Just relax for a few moments, then you can send out patrols again.

Lionfang shook out his pelt. No need to be nervous, she is your mate, after all, he thought as he padded over to where Spiritwhisker and Smoketail were standing after the announcement was made. Even if we don't fall for each other, at least we tried. And if we don't like each other in that way, maybe we could at least be friends, he thought as he dipped his head in greeting. "Hi, Spiritwhisker," he meowed as he approached them. He cast a friendly glance at Smoketail as well, "Hello Smoketail," he added. "I don't mean to interrupt, but I would like to talk to you when you're not busy," he meowed to Spiritwhisker. He figured that he would share his thoughts with her and see what she thought.

Hazelmoon hesitated for a moment before placing her tail on Shadowstep's shoulder in an attempt to comfort him. "Our warriors probably outnumber them by a large number. Plus, we are well-trained and they are driven by their instinct alone," She meowed, trying to give him some reassurance. "Rouges tend to leave if things are too difficult. We should be safe as long as we prove that they can't mess with us," she meowed gently. Hopefully the rouges will be gone soon, she thought.

Ashstar nodded his head. He turned to pad towards the fresh-kill pile. Tensions were high and he could sense it.
These tensions didn't seem to be the result of the threat of rogues though. He looked over to the large group of cats nearby. Reedfeather looked upset. Fawnwillow and Speckledust looked angry. Cherryblossom and Ryebreeze looked uncomfortable. What in the name of Starclan could be going on? His gaze drifted over to the camp entrance where Falconblaze had emerged through the camp entrance. He almost looked scary from his angry appearance. A sigh escaped the tom's mouth. He leaned down, picking up a large squirrel for him and his mate. He carried it back to where the she-cat sat. Lowering himself to the ground, the gray and white tom made himself comfortable. Though, worry still filled him. "I spotted Cinderpaw on my way to the fresh-kill pile. If possible, try to let her stay in for a bit so that we can do her ceremony soon."

Falconblaze continued marching on into camp. His eyes immediately landed on where Cherryblossom sat. Now what. What could he possibly do? Was it worth the effort of causing a scene? Ryebreeze obviously didn't seem to care. What harm were the two causing by simply swimming in water? Hissing, the tom flattened his ears. Instead of trying to confront the group right now, he decided it would be better to wait. Instead, he shot for the warrior's den. Ducking as he entered, he headed straight for his nest and flopped down inside of it. Too many emotions flooded his chest. He needed time to clear his head.

Speckledust narrowed his eyes at the sight of Cherryblossom. He wasn't sure he would be able to trust the she-cat. Especially not right now. Though, Ryebreeze's words rang in his ears. Were they really doing the right thing by forcing him to be with someone he didn't want to be with? Or was he just saying that to make everyone leave him alone? It was hard to tell with Ryebreeze. His maturity levels really weren't quite as high as they should be. The tom watched as Cherryblossom sat down, joining them. His gaze moved between the couple. Neither looked comfortable. A small frown formed on his face. What now? "So." The bengal tom began. His voice cold. "Don't act so shy, Ryebreeze." The tom's ears flattened at the sight of Falconblaze entering the camp. His tail lashed across the earth behind him.

Ryebreeze nodded his head at Reedfeather. "I'm fine. I just don't want to cause trouble." He sighed heavily. It was becoming obvious his pleas were being ignored. He lifted his head, watching as Cherryblossom and Fawnwillow approached. His ears were burning. The tom focused on his assigned mate. "Forgive me... please." He looked over at Speckledust. His brother's cold words were becoming irritating. "I can't do this." Jumping up, the tom raced out of camp. He didn't know where he was going exactly. He just wanted to escape. Was he overreacting? Probably. Should he have stayed in camp and talked things through with Cherryblossom? Definitely. The tom finally came to a stop after reaching a fallen tree to the east of the camp. He climbed on top of it and sat down, attempting to catch his breath. He loved Speckledust and Reedfeather with his whole heart. However, there were some things they didn't need to get involved in.

"About that," Dappledheart began steadily. "I don't mean to second-guess your judgement, but I am a bit uncertain about that apprentice. She was assigned to a patrol this morning, and I watched her ditch it to hang out with other cats. Limeleaf looked pretty frustrated about it too," Dappledheart explained. "I think it might be best to make sure that this isn't a pattern in Cinderpaw's behavior. Would it be alright if one of us checked with Limeleaf about this issue?" She asked Ashstar with a tilt of her head. "Of course, it's completely up to you. I just shared my opinion on the matter." she added, eyeing the squirrel Ashstar brought over. If Cinderpaw is disobedient to her mentor now, she may end up being disobedient to her leader in the future, she worried. Even though she knew that Ashstar was able to defend himself, she couldn't help feeling a responsibility to protect him.
