Duskpaw sighed as he sat in the shadows of the camp, watching the other cats. He didn't know where his mentor was so he was just watching the camp. As he watched some cats go by, he muttered, "Mousebrains..." he rolled his eyes and laid down, curling his pure white tail around his body and letting out a loud huff of annoyance.

Rogues!? I can't go on my own then she thought she got up and stretched and notices a dark shadow across the camp. Knowing who it was, she pads over to Duskpaw. "Duspaw I know that's you" she said quietly

Riverbriar grinned "Alright, let's get going then." she said flicking her tail for both of them to follow. As she headed out she began to speak "Lightpaw and I want another opinion, a second set of eyes." she said. "I figured someone else could give him another perspective. He's doing great in his training! But I want to make sure he's not limited to just what I know. We're going to do some battle practicing." she explained. Glancing back at Lightpaw she nodded to him "You ready?" she asked.

Riverbriar purred in response, nudging him "Well I appreciate it regardless." she said. She turned her attention to the territory around them, scenting the air as they continued forward. "Nice day out at least, when the weathers bad i'm inclined to stay inside all day." she said laughing softly. The pretty tortoiseshell trotted ahead of her companions looking around before she found a spot and sat "This should do it." she said.

Sootnose nodded and bid farewell to Nightpaw, she watched him head over to Stormypaw and smiled slightly. She hoped he'd be able to make more relationships with his denmates than she had when she was his age. Her eyes flickered over to the apprentice's den even though most of the apprentice's were out and about now. She faintly wondered who her apprentice would end up paired with. She hoped someone he got along with.. As much as she disliked the way mates worked.. She still wanted an easy life for her apprentice. She moved off to the side and began to groom her fur quietly. She paused, glancing up as Ashstar called for a meeting. Her ears twitched slightly and she frowned slightly concerned. She didn't think they had any ceremonies planned.. Except maybe Cinderpaw.. But she wasn't around.. So had something happened? She scooted closer to the rest of the gathered cats and looked up quietly.

Shadowstep turned his head as Hazelmoon approached and sat up. "Hey, I was waiting for you and Sootnose to get back." he said though he didn't glance in his sister's direction, instead he kept his gaze on Hazelmoon. "My patrol was.. interesting.." he frowned lowering his voice "We saw some rogues.. I think they were talking to one of our clanmates.. But Ashstar showed up and they left after that. It just didn't sit well with me." he said before he sighed and shrugged. "But i'm probably just on edge for no reason. I just don't like the thought of them being in our territory or around it."

"Hm." was the tiny reply that came from her. Catmint must really be as important as he was saying then if they'd risk it for only catmint.. She wondered if she'd be ready enough to truly help out once leafbare hit. She sure hoped so, she didn't want to let Sunfeather or Firewillow down when they needed her.. Rainypaw glanced around "Does every garden have it? Or do we have to search until we find it?" she asked looking up curiously.

Stormypaw nodded to Nightpaw before he gazed up at Ashstar. His ears pinning at the mention of rogues, glancing over at Nightpaw he frowned. They'd just been out there.. Had they been close to them? He looked around, what about those who were still out?Glancing towards the medicine cat's den he felt his heart sink "I think Rainypaw and Sunfeather are out there.. They probably don't know about the rogues." he murmured trying to keep his voice low. Could they protect themselves out there against the rogues? Did they seem that tough? They had to if Ashstar was warning them all about them.. The worry was obvious on Stormypaw's face as he sat looking up at Ashstar.

Ashstar took a couple steps back before turning to face Dapplednose. A small rumble in his belly signaled how hungry he was becoming. "Dapplednose, I'm going to grab a piece of prey." He grinned. "Would you like to sit and share with me?" Since they couldn't spend alone time together maybe they could at least share prey. It wouldn't be long before another patrol would need to be sent out. He wanted to relax while he had the chance.

Mouseberry - watching Cloudstep/Flamingpaw's training.

Nightpaw's whiskers twitched as he observed the concerned expression on Stormypaw's face. He sat silently for a moment, not sure of exactly how to respond to the situation. "Don't worry." He attempted to comfort the tom. "Sunfeather might be an old fleabag but shes also got a lot of experience." A smirk formed on the tom's muzzle. "If they don't come back soon maybe we can convince our mentors to take us out to check on them." Feeling like he had done all he could to comfort his worried denmate, Nightpaw attempted to change the conversation. "What do you think about Ashpaw?" His gaze drifted over to where the she-cat sat. "She seems a little odd."

An amused expression evolved on Falconblaze's face as he watched Cherryblossom plunge into the water near him. He couldn't help but laugh a bit. "It's so nice." An usually warm smile rested on his muzzle. "This is enough to wake any cat up." The tom snickered. "Next time I can't get someone to wake up, I'll just drag them here and throw them in the water." He laughed as he imagined his plan. Looking over at the she-cat, a mischevious smile grew on his face. Sweeping his paw back on top of the water, he pushed forward, splashing Cherryblossom with a wave of water.

Speckledust sat in the midst of the camp, observing the meeting that had just occurred. Not finding much of a reason, the tom shrugged before gracefully rising to his paws. The tom's long tail curled at the tip just enough to keep it off of the ground. He padded over to the fresh-kill pile which seemed to have just been restocked. A juicy squirrel caught his attention. Leaning forward, he wrapped his jaws around it and carried it off to sit near Ryebreeze. Sitting it down on the ground, he looked at his brother. "Ryebreeze, don't you think you should confront Cherryblossom?" His eyes narrowed. "Didn't you see the way she left camp with that mangy tom, Falconblaze?"

Ryebreeze eyed the ground while Ashstar spoke. Worry overtaking his mind. Now to add on to his previous worries, there was the threat of rogues. What else could possibly go wrong? Movement out of the corner of his left eye caused his head to turn. He watched as Speckledust drooled over the fresh-kill pile. His eyes rolled. The tom sure knows how to eat, but can't put the extra effort in the take hunting seriously. He watched as Speckledust began to speak, fearing what his brother was about to say. A sigh escaped his mouth. "I know..." He closed his eyes, picturing the she-cat happily spending time with Falconblaze. He looked down, fixing his gaze on Speckledust's squirrel. "We barely know each other. If Falconblaze can make her happy then so be it."

Cinderpaw padded into camp with Kestrelthorn at her side, it looked as though the whole camp had gathered to listen to Ashstar's speech. I wonder what that was about. I'm pretty sure I didn't miss my warrior ceremony.
"Fuzzball," replied Cinderpaw as she playfully batted at his ears, "they'd have to have me for the warrior ceremony, or else it wouldn't be complete." The old apprentice spotted Duskpaw and walked up to him.
"Hello, Dustpaw. Have you identified some mouse-brians today?"

He took in the look on both of their faces and immediately got up and started checking for injuries and such on both the toms, "What's wrong? Are you hurt??"

Reedfeather looked up at his mate from where he was checking his brothers for injuries, "Cherryblossom? No? haven't seen her.. Everything okay?" he asked, looking between his brothers and his mate. Riverbriar nodded as they waited for Lightpaw to join them. She turned her attention back to Crowscar "If you're still not busy perhaps we could go for a walk after this?" she purred. "It's been a while since we've been able to hang out and i'd jump at the chance to go out with one of the most handsome cats in the clan." she said flashing him a small smile. Riverbriar was a flirt, and getting assigned a mate had not changed that at all. She considered Falconblaze a friend but didn't think he had any interest in her beyond that so she assumed that meant she was free to pursue whoever she liked.

"Did you encounter any rogues? Or smell any? That's what the whole announcement was about. I guess they've spotted some." she shook her head before she frowned "I think Cinderpaw's ceremony will be today however. So theres some good news at least." she said.

Stormypaw sighed "Yeah you're right." he said. Rainypaw had never been shy about wrestling with her siblings when they were still in the nursery but had she learned any fighting moves? He'd never bothered to ask, should he have offered to show her? She probably would have asked Cloudypaw before she asked him. Shaking his head he turned his attention back to Nightpaw and followed his gaze over to Ashpaw. He shrugged "No idea, hard to have an idea of someone who never speaks to me. Maybe she's just shy? But she could at least talk to us sometimes." he offered.
