Larry huffs in the cold air, his breath creating a little cloud around his head. He had just run hard after a rabbit, but it had escaped through an unseen bold hole.
Ug, if only there had been someone to help me chase it down, cut it off before it got in there. He thinks, dismayed and trying to catch his breath. Finally, he yawns and sighs, heading back towards the ruined buildings. He is grateful for his wiry coat to keep him warm, but even with that it is cold out in the wind near the open space that used to be the park.
