Welcome to the Lune! The Lune is a pack of wolves that has territory partly in the Rocky Mountains, or as the wolves call them, the Rocheux, and partly in a pine forest that is below the mountains. They live in Canada, specifically the Yukon territory, on the coast.

The wolves consider there to be three seasons: Brillantmoon, Froidmoon, and Tombermoon.
Brillantmoon is the time of year when the sun is out often, and there is rarely any snow. Some of the time it is humid, but rarely, due to the area of the the country they live in, which is not as cold as some other areas.
Froidmoon is the time of year when the snow is heavier and more often, and the ground is often covered in it. The coast is often pure ice because of the extreme cold that the season can bring.
During Tombermoon, the trees turn brilliant shades of red and orange, and the temperature is generally crisp and cool, but some days can be a bit more cold or warm, depending on the day.

The wolves in this pack are all either Arctic or gray wolves, but there may be other types of wolves that end up in the pack, either from animal trafficking or other incidents. Some red foxes, arctic foxes, coyotes, or dogs may end up in the pack as well, as they are closely related, although some of the pack hold prejudice towards those who are of a different species.
The pack's enemies include black bears, grizzly bears, Polar bears, cougars, and wolverines, as the majority are fairly aggressive and may attack without being provoked.

The wolves have many different types of prey that they hunt, which includes caribou, dall sheep, elk, moose, occasionally mountain goats, mule deer, white-tailed deer, muskox, stone sheep, bison, beavers, ground squirrels, woodrat, muskrat, deer mice, marmots, jumping mice, lemmings, chipmunks, flying squirrels, red squirrels, voles, woodchucks, pikas, sometimes seals, shrews, and snowshoe hares. Some of these species are more seasonal, for example, lemmings appear more often during Froidmoon.
Sometimes, the wolves will hunt birds and bats, but most wolves prefer to hunt things that do not have the capability of flying. Some wolves don't like to hunt for more water-going animals, as they don't prefer to get their paws wet.
There are other animals that are not necessarily allies or enemies, like porcupines and lynxes.




Rules:
- Have as many characters as you can handle.
- If you're not sure about the rules on something, please PM me or ask OOC!
- Use parentheses to represent OOC.
- Since this is a semi-literate RP, you should have at least four sentences per post. I understand if your character doesn't have much to say, but say so if you can't stretch it out. Use expressions and body language to your advantage, it may help you out.
- Your characters should be well developed, I don't want Mary Sues or anti-Mary Sues everywhere.
- You should have fairly good grammar. As I've said already, this is a semi-literature RP, so I want it to have people who, for the most part, understand grammar. But it's not like I'll kick you out for occasionally saying something grammatically incorrect, only if it's really atrocious.
- You cannot edit parts of the form out. You can, however, add new sections into the form if you wish.
- The only sexualities allowed are heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, and asexual. Although asexuality has not been proven in the animal kingdom, I still consider it to be valid, as it is definitely in the range of possibility. And any other gender than male or female is not allowed. As much as I hate to do this, as a major supporter of the LGBT+ community, I'm trying to keep it realistic. Animals have no sense of gender identity as far as research can tell, so genders other than male and female just aren't realistic. Please don't debate over this, you can have your own opinion, but I'm just going with the evidence. If there is evidence that proves otherwise, please, link me to it, I'd be glad to make more of the LGBT+ community allowed within this RP!
- Do not spam. I know this is something everyone knows, but I still want to make it clear.
- Follow Tess' rules.
- There are alphas, but they may not follow your definition of the word. I have changed up the real thing slightly to fit a more RP-style setting, but here's the thing: in real packs, alphas are not the leaders who order others around. Rather, they have the most freedom in what they do, essentially. So for this RP, they have minimal control over the pack, and only guide others. Betas are merely the ones up next in line for the leadership, so they are respected.
- Note: Not all alphas are mates. Some are just friends, some are siblings, some may even be rivals who were equally up for the position!
- You are free to begin roleplaying as soon as your characters are accepted.
- No killing, severely injuring, or getting into a relationship with another character without the owner's approval.
- Reservations for high ranks are okay, but you must fill out the reservation within three days, or I will message you that your res is being removed. If you reply and say when you will have it finished and it's not too long, then I will let you keep it.
- No self-mates! It makes the roleplay more interesting.


Pack rules:
- Omegas may always alert another wolf to where they are going, and must obey the wolves in higher positions than them.
- Trainees must listen to the hunters and their mentor.
- Some trainees may have two mentors.
- No mating with loners.
- Alphas may only be challenged for their positions by high-ranking hunters or betas.
- Low-ranking hunters and omegas can only go up by ranks either by challenging another wolf to a fight, or saving another wolf's life, or even taking down a large kill (like a moose).

She is mainly here for the larger variety of prey, and how common lemmings are in the area, as lemmings are her favorite food. (Possible WIP?)

I'm really not trying to be rude, but you may want to improve your grammar before joining. As I've said multiple times, you should have fairly good grammar to join the RP. I see you're spelling a lot of things wrong, using run-on sentences, and generally just bad grammar. I suggest trying to find a site that could help you out, or using a spell check application like Grammar.ly.

Backstory: Ludlow had an average upbringing, his parents were the betas in the pack and he had a comfortable puphood. The alpha's had their own pups, so it was clear that he and his siblings were never going to lead the pack, but this was okay, Ludlow and his siblings were content with their life. It wasn't until a year ago that he faced any major conflict, he and his littermates had been hunting outside of the normal borders, they were seasoned hunters by then, but had gotten cocky due to their success. By the time they heard the crashing footsteps, the humans were already too close, Ludlow barked out a warning to his siblings, only to find they had already disappeared into the woods. Ludlow was then captured by the humans, being carted away for miles, until he broke out of the tiny cage, and waited until they opened the doors of their machine before he bolted, when he had run far enough and gotten his bearings, he had no idea where he was. He roamed the woods for weeks before the pack spotted him and took him in, eventually making him beta male.

Love life: Ludlow would like a mate, or even just someone to spend time with, but worries his personality gives others the wrong impression.

Family: Doesn't know where they are anymore, or if they are still alive (If you want to be related to him, let me know!)

Other information: Ludlow is still coping with his past, but is trying to put it behind him and focus on his duties.

Backstory: As a pup, hunters killed most of her pack, the ones who managed to avoid the bullets were either captured or driven away. Due to this, Alumit made her way through the perilous wilderness alone and grew up to become the caring but cautious wolf she is today. She entered the pack as a frostbitten loner and after displaying her skills on healing herself, they made her a pack healer.

Love life: None, but is certainly interested in males, and is getting to the age where she would love to have her own pups.

Anastasia can also be the sweetest and most gentle she-wolf ever known when she is around her pack, but won't hesitate to put a wolf in its place. Anastasia is the most feared, yet loved wolf of all time.

Flaws: Anastasia has a quick temper when any-wolf tests her and can quickly snap if some-wolf questions her authority.

Backstory (not required but HIGHLY recommended. if you're still developing it, that's fine): Anastasia is from a small pack that was attacked by rogues. She was raised by the previous Alpha of the Lune pack, and has taken the position of Alpha now that he has passed. Anastasia was not always as loving and gentle, She used to be scared and submissive and would snap at anyone who came near. The previous Alpha gained her trust and taught her not everyone is there to hurt her. Anastasia would give her life for him or anyone in her pack, all thanks to that amazing male who taught her the greater things in life. Anastasia doesn't remember much from before she was taken in by the Alpha, but knows that now all she has to do is keep her pack safe, healthy and happy.
