Killian needed a new collar because the one he has is a cheap one I bought at a dollar store and the other pups broke it. They were playing and always lept grabbing his collar and pulling till it got stretched out and now it won't stay the size it needs to be.
got him this though and I'm super happy about it

and here is a pic of a very spoiled Killian sitting in his new bed with all his toys

Cute collar and even cuter dog.

Be careful about letting them play with collars on. Dogs have accidently strangled from another dog's teeth getting caught in the collar. Even when right there dogs have died before their owners have gotten to them.

I will double warn to this I have bite marks from one of my old GSD's after her sister got her bottom jaw caught in the collar and nearly strangled her, luckily we managed to separate them and no one was seriously hurt.
I dont keep collars on mine know because of it especially in multi-dog house holds.

^^ It snowed for us too but my dogs were more social towards the fire than going outside. They didn't even want to go out to poo/wee. Oh it was so much fun for the person who had to clean up after them.
My mom very much wanted to introduce the latest addition (20 week chi) to puppy pads over straight up outside-training (which I brought up). Now, both of our dogs go outside to do there thing, but since it's so cold and we are expecting Blizzard Emma tonight, we can't actually leave them out if they do anything to the precious floor.
But honestly, the older dog has secretly been peeing on the puppy mat (he's six years. We can't even tell him off since A) he's stubborn and B) he's epileptic and seizures at any high emotion). We thought something was going on because there's no way something as small as a Chi pup could pee 4x his body size. Welp, we caught him and he put his leg down the moment he was told off.
I mean, he's just lazy. They both know, only he'll 'tell you' when he needs to go outside by running in and out of your legs and towards the courtyard door. Puppy does do said business outside but won't tell you and pees whenever you leave him. Wish we got him in the spring so he'd be able to train quicker, but we honestly can't leave him out at -5c*.

@Flossie - OMG that's adorable.

@IOwnAZoo - He looks sweet. Are you going to keep his name?
@Taiger Lilly - Looks like everyone had a good time.
Luckily we're not due any snow, just rain. Chloe's puppy pad trained do we don't have to worry about braving the elements when it's bad. The robins are back here and our neighbor's crocus are coming up so we're hoping spring is around the corner for us. Yesterday was a night day and Chloe and I got out. I took her out on the long line so she got to run around a bit. She doesn't enjoy being outside all that much but I still think she had fun, she just had more fun coming back inside, lol.

My dog once ate an ant trap!! It was insane, We were so scared that he was gonna get hurt. We tried to call the animal poison control, but we had to pay around 60 dollars just to talk to someone. We later found out that the reason why he ate the ant trap was because there was peanut butter inside to attract the ants, he was all good but he felt a little sick after eating it. We have two golden retrievers and it was only one who ate it and he looked sooooo guilty afterwards!

Y’all this little brat is already getting fluffier 😭 Look at that tail! It took Kota months to start getting tail fluff, and Octavia is 13? Weeks and already getting fluffy beyond belief!
I’m going to be overrun in fluff in no time, between her being a super fluffball and the aussies being decently fluffy too...
