I just wanted to make this so all gerbil owners and gerbil lovers can share their gerbil pictures and/or information about them like their names, coat colours, ages etc.
I also think that gerbils are quite misunderstood and a lot of people think they are really fast so they are scared to get them.
I agree that they are fast but they are still loving little creatures:
My gerbils are beautiful little things. I have about 10 as of this moment.
I'll share with you why I have ended up with 10. This is a funny story.
So, we got them from a local pets at home store and we started off with 2: They were fine for months until finally we noticed Foxy (the female) was getting fat. A week or two later, it was a saturday night: We heard a lot of squeaking coming from Foxy and Frondeur's cage so we went to have a look, then we saw a nest of tiny little babies, it really shocked me.. A day later we separated the male
from the female and it turned out it was too late, about 5 weeks (I'd say it was something like that) later, we found another little nest of babies. There was 4 in the first one (1 died) and then in the second nest there was 5 babies. The pet store must of got Frondeur and Foxy's genders wrong.
Well, let's just say pet stores aren't very good with their animals.. It was my only choice to get them from pets at home because there's no where else that really sells them near me.
My Gerbils :
Foxy - Snowy White Coat - Female - (Not exactly sure of age)
Frondeur - Grey with White Markings - Male - (Not sure of his age either)
Ralph - Grey with white markings - Male
Sparky - Black all over - Male
Tiny - Black with White Markings - Male
Then there's 5 babies who are all grey and they are about 4 or 5 weeks old now
